| Based on reading the manga after Forte finished... Honestly, this is the best thing they can do for many reasons. I won't spoil anything, I hope. (Maybe.) Reason 1: The chronological order between events in the manga and anime have been askewed pretty hard core. Some characters have had things happen already to them that happened way later and by a different means in the manga. It's honestly almost like what happened to the Rosario Vampire series, but not that extreme. Reason 2: The manga carried the same overall feel to the anime up to a certain point. Then changed a little. The fans of the anime (possibly as seen by the producers) are used to a relatively light hearted and happy anime about a dude surrounded by angels with huge breasts getting his ass kicked by his friend and generally being happy go lucky. Their reaction to the third season, if it went by the manga (and was a more faithful adaptation/with fixed chronological errors) would probably be less than desirable than if they went with the movie. The movie will be shorter than a whole season by a lot obviously. Give or take 130 minutes less of actual animation. This means it'll probably go up to the part where the manga takes a different form, which means people will see mostly things they're used to seeing. That being said. The biggest flaw so far and more than likely the reasoning why they're going with a movie as opposed to a new season is the amount of events that happened during the anime that should've actually happened after the anime ended. The timeline of events is really REALLY mangled. That is all. |

| yeah the fanbase might not be expecting to be hit so hard by those feels and it could act against the series but i think its good in the manga |
