Arson's body exploded in white flame, then reformed, healing him of his injuries. "Finally, I can move again." He got up and put on his clothes. "Arson. Arson Red." He stepped over the dead bodies and followed Nezzara. "So, where to?" |

Nezzara's smirk was slightly colder and before Arson was able to follow him, the entire room went into pure darkness. Even though Arson obviously cast a flame to try and see, it was still dark. "I will call upon you when time comes. For now, just control yourself and don't kill anyone. If you do, your life will be shorter than you think." Nezzara warned as the darkness disappeared and so did him. Nezzara had disappeared completely but a small sign of his appearence was left behind. A small fragment of his sword, left on the doctor's chest. |

Arson laughed to himself. "This is going to be one hell of a ride." He looked out the hospital window, and teleported away... |

Yzmael said: Aurora stopped in her tracks when the man mentioned the word "afraid". Afraid? Was this really fear? Was she afraid that her cover would be blown by this human? Or was she just afraid to trust this human? She knew Nezzara knew about this man, "The Mayor", and that he was powerful and "evil". It was true that this man was powerful as the Divine Energy in him was the highest amongst all the humans she had seen so far but he did not seem "evil". Her right hand was full healed now so there was no longer any reason for her to hide it but she still felt as though she should not get involved with this man. Arthas was left without words as the lady got up on her own, ignoring his offer and recoiling backwards. Could it be that she knew about his identity? No. Arthas rarely appeared on the screens. His voice was the most known thing by everyone but his appearence was almost never shown. Visual messages were usually delivered to the citizens through Jessica. However, maybe this woman was a Phase Walker. Could it be that she already knew about his identity? Arthas could see a few possibilities to why she knew about it. She could either be a member of the Rogue Company, thus being alerted that Arthas was there and shown how he looked like. Or she could be a simple Phase Walker with powers that allowed her to know who he was. Either way, it did not sounded good. "No, it was my fault, I'm too focused on my problems to keep attention." Arthas told her, his blank expression remaining the same. "There's no need to be afraid of me, miss." Arthas told her, still holding a blank expression on his face. "It is okay but I really must go," Aurora said as she continued on her way. She wasn't exactly sure where she was going but her first priority was to simply get away from this man. She hoped that he wouldn't follow her. |

Though he let the girl go away, Arthas placed a tracker on her quickly when she turned her back to him. He quickly activated the tracker and sent the signal to Jessica as he kept on going towards the bar where he last saw the cameras. Along with the tracker's signal, Arthas also sent Jessica a little message. "Hello, Jessica. I met this girl and she was strangely... recoiled from me. I suspect that she might know my face and that can be a problem. Follow her track signal and check for anything suspicious, if you find something strange, contact me immediatly." The message said, showing that he was actually interested in this girl. As Arthas went inside the bar, almost everyone was already taken out. He went inside, ignoring all the ISG agents around and looking towards the human man giving his description. "It was... Terrifying. He killed all of them in seconds. It was... so quick, so dark. I couldn't even see anything. I just fell their blood spilling on me and then the presence was gone. How do you know that something can be perceived? What if this... "thing" cannot be perceived? What if this beast is... subconcious? Something from our minds, created as a substantial fear... I can't really say." The man said as Arthas also sent the man's report to Jessica. He was sending her anything important and one of these things was something that even Arthas found intriguing. A piece of Obsidian Iron. "Jessica, you see this?" Arthas asked her via radio, now that he was away from all the fuss. The question reffered to the piece of Obsidian Iron he was showing her through his visor. This Iron was not even present on Imanos. For it to be here meant that it was taken from a place very old on Imanos. Maybe a warehouse. "Theories?" He questioned her. |

Jessica had safely arrived at the ISG Command Center and received the message from Arthas. She began to track the position of the girl of interest and so far she just seemed to be wandering around the slums; there was nothing of interest to report. "Yes, I see it," she said as she examined the thing on her monitor. It was a metal shard and by the look of it, seemed like iron, though it was unlike any iron she had ever seen before. "And I've never seen anything like it before... It may be a synthetic iron or possibly a new alloy, but I cannot tell for sure just by looking at it. If possible, I'd like for it to be sent to our labs so that we may further analyze it." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Aurora was glad that the man had not decided to follow her but something on her was emitting electromagnetic radiation. "So this is what is giving off the radiation," she said as she picked the small device off her body and inspected it. "So the humans are already suspicious of me... I need to be more cautious in the future..." The tracking device popped and ceased to function in her hand as she applied some x-rays to it. She continued to wander around in the slums, paying more attention to her surroundings this time. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The dot which had tracked the girl of interest had disappeared from the monitor near Jessica. "What?!" she exclaimed. "Sir! I've lost the signal of that girl! It- It just disappeared! There was no interference at all leading up to that point so that probably means the tracking device was destroyed... I don't know how she found out but the fact remains that we have lost track of her and there is no way for me to know where she is from where I am, unfortunately. But, if she really is of interest to you, we could send an agent to track her down, she should not have been able to get very far if she was just walking, sir." |

Placing the Obsidian Iron Shard on his pocket, Arthas responded to Jessica with a simple, yet reassuring, "Yes, I'll take it to the lab right now". Arthas turned around and continued to walk his way towards the laboratories of the ISG. There were dozens of them around Imanos, all of them strategically positioned to be from less important to more important the further you went into the city. With a small smile, Arthas then resumed to respond to Jessica's sudden explanation about the girl. So she was able to deactivate my tracker, huh. Arthas thought to himself as he thought of what to do. This girl was clearly not normal. If she was able to understand that Arthas placed a tracker on her, then she had good senses of her surroundings. "Send someone good, Jessica. I'll leave the choice to you. I'm hurrying to the lab right now and then I'll be going after her too. I need to know more about this girl and something tells me that she knows more than I do about this new killer." Arthas told her, speeding up towards the lab into the inner Citadel. |

Arson appeared in the Slums. He quietly walked to an abandoned building and sat down, where he would relax and wait for Nezzara to contact him. He smiled, wondering what future business propositions could come up. Hopefully they could work well together, especially since they both had a knack for death and destruction. He kicked back and closed his eyes, tossing a small fireball into a caved in fireplace, creating some warmth. |

Jaeger walked among the streets, hands folded behind his back as he walked. He had headed to the area where Black had sent off a distress signal however nothing was there. Two of his bodyguard walked behind him, examining the surroundings cautiously as they traveled. The city was growing more chaotic which was not a good sign. He was now regretting letting the Mayor's daughter go when he first spoke to her. Sure she would have used her abilities however that only would have meant she would have exhausted herself faster and probably not have even reached the Shortcuts. He let out a sigh at his own mistake. He somewhat pitied the girl and it seemed that that was coming back to bite not only him but everyone else in the ass. His thoughts were interrupted by Fixer. "Sir, there's a lot of chatter through the coms." He spoke through an earpiece in Jaeger's ear. "Some of the ISG squads and platoons have gone completely dark, as if they were wiped out without being allowed to report in. I don't think it's the Insurgent's work though... They're pushed too far into a corner, not to mention how the ISG soldiers were killed... They were torn apart to say the least. There are also reports of some Insurgents being found like that was well." Fixer stated, waiting for Jaeger's response. "Give out warnings to the entire unit. You've been scouting out that place long enough. Split up into squads and go investigate the areas in which these 'murders' took place. The Rogues have their backs against the wall anyway." He ordered, getting a "Yes, sir." from Fixer. "This has become far too troublesome..." He murmured. |

Qui sat atop the building, waiting and watching. She 'sat' on building by locking her hands in a way to make it easy for her to basically support herself upwards and sits on them, as if they were a pedestal. She listened to the comms, waiting for a reply to her request. She frowned as nothing had happened for maybe an hour or two. She got down from sitting and walked to the edge of the building where there was a slightly raised ledge. She then looked at the other building, she turned around and walked from the ledge maybe 20 to 30 feet before turning back around and running towards the ledge. She jumped off the building, raising one hand up and putting another a bit in front of her. She caught the ledge of the other building and stopped herself from hitting the wall of it two hard with her other hand. She got on the roof and continued until she went at least two blocks away from where she started. The grinding of her hands on the concrete of metal of the various buildings she jumped to created loud scraping noises. She found herself on top of an abandoned building, she let out a huff of air and let her hands drag along the floor as she walked around the top before finding a place to sit and maybe rest. She sat in a corner where her hands made a sort of wall in front of her as she sat, only a small slight between them to see if something was in front of her. |

One of Arson's eyes opened lazily. I thought this section of the Slums was abandoned..And yet someone seems to be walking on the roof of this place... I wonder who it is. He shuddered in excitement, but was reminded of Nezzara's warning not to kill anyone. Ugh, stupid Nezzara. He goes on a killing rampage, but then wont let me do anything. He's just trying to hog all the fun. He sighed. Arson tried to go back to sleep, but the metal scraping prevented him from doing so, and the repetitive noise drove him wild with curiosity. Is it the Mayor? Or Vector?Maybe it's someone belonging to Nezzara's group...? He tossed and turned anxiously. Finally he got up. His curiosity was killing him. I'm sure Nezzara wouldn't mind a little demolition. He smiled wickedly. Besides, I'm not killing anyone or anything......Yet. He grinned and formed a circular white flame in the palm of his hand. Blasting the heat upwards, Arson blew an enormous hole through the roof. He waited, curious to see what was up there... |

As a giant explosion happened in front of Qui, her hands took the heat, quickly dispersing it into the grounds. Her body was quite resistant to temperature changes due to her hands being made of metal. Their exposure had helped condition her body to it.But the explosion was so sudden though. Why did it happen and who did it? Was it someone in the building? She was sure it was abandoned when she landed on top of it. Tis was a mystery that would be solved soon. As the smoke cleared, she got up and peered down the hole, only to see a man. most likely a phase walker. An explosion that size wouldn't melt rebar like it had done here, noticable by the the rebar in the concrete had been bent and melted. She didn't know who the man was but he probably didn't know who she was either. Plus this was an abandoned building, he could be a hired demolitionist. But she didn't know and kept herself aware. She waved to the man at the bottom, below the hole, her massive hand blocking some light from entering the hole as she did. |

Arson grinned as he looked up. A massive hand was waving down in his direction. He had gotten the attention of whoever had been on top. The hand was so large it blocked out a large amount of light, so Arson couldn't tell who it was exactly that was waving. Judging from the size of that hand, it must be a pretty big guy,he thought. "Why hello there..." |

Qui stopped waving before she made her way down, dropping off before gripping the edge of the hole, hanging under it now. She let go and let her other hand take the brunt of the fall. It lifted some dust but wasn't much. It quickly dispersed and she could see the man a lot clearer. The man looked...okay...He didnt wear a shirt... That was her only gripe about him so far but other then that she was unfazed. |

Nezzara's killing spree was not being stopped but the reinforcement on the search squads and platoons made him have a slightly harder time in killing these specially skillful humans. Aurora, can you hear me? I'm pretty sure you can. Nezzara thought to himself, having a conversation with the Aurora that he wanted to see. I'll be helping you out... Again. However, this time, I don't really want to do it. Even so, I can't go against you. What would I do without you around? How would Death exist without Life? He further sent himself into deeper thought. Standing atop an abandoned church on the other side of the Slums, Nezzara thought about how much effort he would have to place in order to make the humans retrieve peace. What if they united to defeat us, Aurora? Wouldn't that work? He added into his deeply hurt mind. If it wasn't for Aurora, Nezzara would already be dead. That was why Nezzara was considered Death. Because he had already been brought back from it. Nezzara was once killed. Aurora brought him back to life. Closing his eyes, Nezzara faced the expressions of an angry Aurora, who had just yelled at him for hours. However, all that happened a long time ago. When Hecate was the one responsible for his death. Ever since that time, Aurora and Nezzara became two sides of the same coin. One, loved and respected by everyone, the symbol of light and life. The other, feared and left behind, the pure incarnation of death and shadows. That was how they were divided now, and it was all Nezzara's fault. Sighing, Nezzara gave up on these thoughts and jumped off from the church and into the Underground, in the search of new targets. ---- Alisa, a small girl that looked more like someone who was lost from their parents, walked through the marketplace of the now crowded Slums. Her steps were swift and calm and her entire body was covered by a tunic long enough for people not to recognize her so easily. What she was searching for was a simple present for the person who saved her life. She had the coin necessary to do so, she got it from Thane when he wasn't watching her. As if that was not enough, many guards and soldiers from the RC gave her money to buy more Phase Energy Liquids. She had no plans to waste her money on such things, however. In her mind, all that mattered was to repay the person that helped her. Fascinated by the variety of the shops, Alisa walked in circles, looking around like a lost girl. That was foolish and she knew it. However, Alisa herself knew nothing about the Slums. She had no map nor a good sense of navigation. In fact, she was very bad with her own navigation around the labs or the Citadel. Places that she knew like the back of her hand. Of course, she would need to ask for someone to help her around. She would never access the map system. Her Phaser could easily tell away her position and a Phaser was something quite rare so she didn't wanted to use it around the Slums. With quick, swift steps, she went towards the other area of the Marketplace. A dark, almost cruel area of the Marketplace stood in front of her. Gambling machines, cassinos, all that was placed here, on the 'dark' side of the Market. The Slums were never very safe but this part of it was not even close to being safe. However, Alisa had no fear from it. She had her power in case she had to escape from the grasp of people like gangs. In the end, Alisa found one store that she liked. A store full of ancient airtifacts, used on the Ancient Earth. In a time like this, musical instruments cost a fortune. It was not even useful to buy one since you could just make music from any kind of eletronical system. This shop, however, sold great quantities of these musical instruments and all of them were in a price that she could pay. Other than the musical instruments they had a variety of other airtifacts that Alisa could buy. One of them was to represent a God that was left behind when Humanity began to move into Imanos. Religion was something that was largely lost during the attack of the Flaming Earth. People stopped beliving in gods and began to believe in their own strength. Those who had no strength were simply left behind. The old man explained to Alisa a long text called 'Bible' that was use to prophetise the words of this God. Alisa listened to the old man with all her attention, before a gang came in the shop... "Give us the money, old man!" The apparent Leader of the Gang yelled from the door of the shop. Alisa remained immobile. Her face was thankfuly hidden by the tunic that she was wearing. However, the men had also noted her, so she would be a target in the end. Alisa couldn't bear the fact that she was always in trouble. Was this some kind of curse placed on her? No, curses were just a myth. Alisa remained immobile until she heard the sound of water falling on the ground. Outside the store, in Imanos, rain started to pour down. These rains were used to let off steam from the impressive temperatures of the City's Core. Alisa had never seen rain like that, however, her time in the labs didn't allowed her to. She quickly forgot about the problem in hand and stared outside, towards the dark rain. |

Aurora heard Nezzara in her mind clearly as if she and him were standing face to face in the same room despite the distance between them. While I know that we have our differences, you are still my beloved brother, Nezzara, and just as you care for me, I care for you. It is why I raised you from the dead and why I would do so again in a heartbeat, even if the others do not feel the same. As for the humans, if they united against us, it would become a problem as some of these humans are crafty. I think we may have to come to some sort of agreement. I have met humans who hold much more Divine Energy than all the others, and I feel that they use their power to rule over those who are weaker than them. As much as I do not like killing, if we are able to eliminate these particular humans and Hecate, we may be able to save the rest of the humans. Aurora sensed that Nezzara had dove deeper into the city but she knew that her thoughts had reached him. As she wandered more about the slums she came across a store which held many trinkets that she had never seen before and they fascinated her. Most were hollow in one way or another but some had things you could press and others had strings, and while most were metal some were even wood. However, as she was staring, it started to pour rain which startled her at its suddenness so she quickly ran into the shop and accidentally bumped into a man who was yelling at the old man behind the counter and held a weapon in his hand. |
