| Yawning, Alisa walked over the slums without any kind of fear. Her slow, almost patient, steps were towards the Marketplace. Her expressions were one of someone who was impressed, curious and almost stupid. She seemed like a lost girl without her mother. Something that could easily be target of someone like a bandit or an assassin. However, Alisa had no fear of them. She was able to escape from them easily thanks to her Phase Walker Powers. If she was able to do escape from a psychopath, she was able to escape from absolutely everyone. |

| Nautilus having grown up in the slums, and knew the area well. He walked at a brisk pace, after having stopped by his apartment to grab non government clothes, though he did keep his ID on hand. He snaked his way through the alleyways towards a familiar building, that he had in fact grew up around and in, and mumbling to himself "A better place than none to start", |

| Jaeger stood atop a building, looking down at the people below him. Using some of the surveillance footage and some contacts, he was able to gain the information that she was somewhere in the slums. It also was hypothetically one of the best places for her to hide. The so called 'law-enforcement' seemed almost devoid, probably not even caring about anything that is going on. Not that the information made it easy. He was somewhat familiar with the slums, as a former comrade of his used to live in the slums and would often drag him along to visit, though it was still unfamiliar territory. He also wouldn't be able to simply run at her and grab her due to her abilities, so he would have to try other methods and strategies. |

| As she walked, Alisa was able to see the dirty slums all around her. Having a calm stance, she looked around, slightly astonished by the size of the place. However, as she was daydreaming around, she ufortunately bumped into someone. She looked upwards to the angered man, who had just lost all the items he was going to sell. "Oh, sorry, my bad, sir." Alisa said, having no ideia what she had just done. The angered man started to shout and gasp at her, having his voice altered, however, it was not long before he noticed that he was actually shouting at nothing. The man looked around, seeming lost. He couldn't understand what had just happened. Either way, the man brushed his hair and kept on walking foward, his goods still destroyed. Giggling not far from there, Alisa had her fun. "The people of the city are really angry all the time... Aren't they?" She mumbled to herself as she kept on walking, this time, getting into the marketplace's entrance. |

| Jaeger closed his eyes calmly. Focusing on listening for any oddities and indications of where she might be at. There were so many disruptions however so he was unable to differentiate between them. He reopened his eyes and glancing to the back of him, the marketplace of the slums. If he read her file correctly, she was probably curious of the outside, and what better place to find things to interest herself than the marketplace. It was cluttered with people, however due to his eyes he should be able to find her with some effort should she walk around carelessly. |

| Once inside Nautilus asks the person "Have seen a girl who looks like this?" showing photo of the girl "And if you could could you keep a look out i need to find her and bring her back to the isg, i'll pay you as well", the person looks as if they are in the thought for a minute before saying "Ah, an acquaintance said he saw an interesting girl headed for the market place, walked kind of slow and deliberate". | Walking on the marketplace of the slums aimlessly, Alisa had a curious expression. She walked to all kinds of stands, asking what they were selling and how much it cost. Most of the items on the Slums cost a fortune and Alisa had no money to pay them. However, one item held her attention. A small music box. As Alisa opened the box, she looked towards it intently, having her eyes settled on it with a huge smile. "Hey, hey sir! How much does this one cost?" She asked to the clerks, who simply looked towards her with disgust in their eyes. "Get out of here, girl. You don't have any money anyway." They said in an angry tone. They took a few steps foward, as if trying to scare Alisa away. However, Alisa's smile was unchanged. "Please, tell me the price, I really want to buy this." She said, happily looking towards the music box. |

| Jaeger glanced around the crowd of people. Nothing particularly giving away the position of this girl. He closed his eyes once more and listened. He heard many conversations, however one caught his attention. It was more of an argument, or rather, threats. He knew this could just be a coincidence, but it was better to check and make sure anyhow. He opened his eyes and glanced in the direction of the conversation. There were a few others so he could always check them as well if the first was wrong. He nonchalantly hopped down and headed in the direction of conversation, most people stepping out of his way and others scowling. |

| As Alisa tried to convince the man that she could buy the music box, the man simply kept on threatening her as he was now very close to her. However, Alisa's expressions did not seemed scared, actually, she didn't seemed to afraid at all. "Just go away you stupid girl. I don't have any business with someone like you. Get out of here, scum!" The man shouted, making Alisa take a few steps bacc and flinch slightly. "B-but, I want to buy it..." Alisa mumbled quietly, slightly more silent after the man's sudden release of anger. "You won't buy it because you don't have any money, bitch, now get the hell out of here before I need to do something." The man said, raising his hand to her. Alisa's eyes slightly changed for half a second, turning into a clock. "No you won't." She said, mocking him. The man tried to hit her, but he was simply too slow. It was as if he was in slow motion. Smiling, Alisa turned around and walked away, slowly taking the box with her... |

| It didn't take long for Jaeger to arrive at the scene of the disruption. Though he stood a decent ways away, within the crowd of people. He heard the man shouting at a girl, then a pause and she wasn't in the same spot as she was before. He thought it was way too reckless of her to use her powers for such trivial matters. He let out a soft sigh and calmly passed through the crowd to follow her. He wasn't planning to attack her or use force... at least at first. She didn't seem to think strategically so he wasn't sure if she would listen to him at all, however she was still technically a kid and therefore, he would prefer not to fight or hurt her. "Miss Methril." He called out to her calmly once he was close enough. He wanted to attempt communicating and reasoning with her first. He didn't get too close to her nor did he make any hostile movement, not wanting her to immediately pause time and run out of intimidation or cautiousness. |

| In an old abandoned building about 3 blocks from where the scene had ocurred, Vector watched silently through the scope of his rifle. He had no intention to fire on anyone, and was only observing. His sources told him that the ISG seemed interested in some "girl" and Vector wondered why. When the girl vanished, seemingly into thin air, he understood. Grabbing his gear and running on the rooftops, Vector made his way to where the incident had happened. He was aware he was probably not the only one after the girl, and jumped down into the streets, slipping into the crowds of people... |

| Scorpion was walking around casually a radio was built into his skull so he could get updated on new assassinations he needed to perform, he could also get some holograms projected into his eyes that only he could see so he could see targets, bombs, objectives and other kinds of tasks, the radio in his mind suddenly called in, and a female voice spoke. "Scorpion, we have a new target." Scorpion replied back. "Acknowledged." Monotonely as he kept walking, then the female voice spoke while a picture of an middle aged man appeared before him. "The target is a man, he is assumed guilty of being a rebel, and all evidence points towards it, he-" Scorpion then interupted. "Everything else doesnt matter." Then the woman spoke. "But..." Scorpion mimicked her voice. "But?" like a question, then she spoke. "He has a daughter." Scorpion replied with a sarcastic tone. "And when did that ever make a difference to me?, I will do what the task demands of me." The woman then replied. "Yes sir." He then began running across the streets, he was well out of place, his mechanical body was standing out, but that was only those that managed to catch a glimpse of him, he was a very fast runner, and looked straight ahead, not slowing down in the slightest, he slided over a box, jumped over a stall stand performing a sideways flip in the air, and laned neatly on the ground on the other side, then he kept running, like he was never gonna stop. |

| He kept running he ran into an alleyway jumped up unto a wall then used his mechanical strength to propel him up unto the wall in front of it, then did the same again and kept going, until he ended up on the roof, he then moved via the roof and jumped down unto a lower block landing on his feet tumbling down and rolling to ease the impact on his legs as it was 8 meters down, then he jumped down and landed on his feet in the middle of a street and he saw Vector, he stopped and walked towards him, unsheathing his sword, slowly walking towards him, while speaking. "Primary threat spotted... Moving to terminate." He got dangerously to Vector but simply passed right by him, a man behind Vector turned around with a face of pure horror he spoke. "Pleas-aaaaargh!" He spoke as he was cut down with a vertical slash, in broad daylight, the blood pouring out of his half severed body, Scorpion then swung his sword towards the ground getting the blood off, then sheathed his sword while speaking. "Threat terminated." He spoke as the people looked at him with scared glances but keeping a clear distance between them. |

| Vector eyed the assassin, but said nothing. So that's why my phase energy spiked, he thought. He had grown accustomed to seeing death everywhere, and this was nothing new. His mission at the moment was to locate the girl and see what the ISG wanted with her, and so he had no time for assassins. He hurried along, using the confusion of the crowd to disappear again.. |

She questioned, seriously sad. She looked away from Jaeger, not running nor escaping from him. She had no intentions of running away, but she just wanted to stay outside for a little longer, that was obvious enough. |

| It wasnt long before Scorpion was sorrounded by scared people, all wanting to see what was going on, and him standing there over a corpse with a drawn sword was giving alot of attention, but then he grabbed a smoke grenade and threw it into the ground, as the thick smoke began covering the area, he ran and jumped over the crowd with utmost ease, then he ran into an alleyway where he repeated the same trick as before, jumped up unto the wall propelling himself up unto the same roof he came down from, then he ran over the roof of the block, and got to where he jumped down the last time, he pulled out a self retracting grappling hook, and shot up into the sky it hit the fence reiling on the taller building, and he got pulled up the grappling hook, then as he reached the reiling he jumped over it and put away his grappling hook while he ran acrosss this building, escaping the crime scene. |

| "Unfortunately, I am." Jaeger began calmly. "However, I am willing to strike a deal with you, if you are willing to listen that is." He added calmly. He knew she would try to escape again, and would most likely succeed. And if the mayor and everyone else kept treating her like a pet she might even go to the rebels for assistance. He figured by striking this deal it would lessen the chances of her escaping, causing trouble, or joining the insurgency. |

"Also, I see you as a comrade, not a tool as I am guessing the others treat you as." He added. "And my deal involves going outside, not just into another room of a prison." |

She was also not afraid when he said that he would have to pursue her anyway. |

| "I think I may be able to negotiate with the mayor about your 'outside' privileges." Jaeger told her. "At the very least I believe I will be able give you the privilege of going outside with an escort." He began. "I believe it would be the best option, as even if you run the ISG will eventually track you down, even with your extraordinary powers taken into account. If you accept my proposition, there will be periods of time where you are able to leave and do what you wish without worry of being 'hunted'. And that is the very least of what I should be able to accomplish for you. Perhaps I will be able to get you more freedom than intended." |

They would rarely let me out and, to add to it, even if I was to be let out, they would have to 'escort' me, which would be annoying. She thought to herself as she looked back towards Jaeger. "I don't know if that's a good ideia. They wouldn't let me out..." She said, with her eyes forming a small clock for some seconds and then going back to their normal light. |

| "When I mean escort, it would most likely be one of my bodyguard unit. They aren't like the ones that you know. And even they would be able to watch you from afar without obstructing you." Jaeger told her, as if guessing her thoughts. "And you are probably thinking that being allowed to leave would be an extreme rarity... There wouldn't be a point to that. The main reason the mayor would allow you 'free time' would be due to the fact that if he doesn't, and keeps treating you as he has, then if you escape and run into someone or some people who wish to go against the ISG, what would be stopping you from helping them? And with you, you could do much damage. Continuing to repress you and treating you as an object will only 'come back to bite us in the ass' as one might say." |

Besides, having someone watching me feels slightly... pressing. I mean, it's like having someone watching everything I'm doing, keeping an eye at me like I am a kid. I'm not a kid, I know how to take care of myself." She said, rolling her eyes as she looked right towards Jaeger, having her eyes settled on him. Her expression was slightly happier this time. She was happy to hear from someone that she could be threat. "Besides, I don't wish to fuel this battle between the ISG and the Rogue Company. If I do, however, it won't be for any of them. It'll be for myself." She added, turning away from Jaeger and starting to walk away from the Marketplace with her music box in hands. |

| Jaeger calmly listened, afterwards closing his eyes. "Very well then." He spoke blankly. He wouldn't try to capture her right now. If he did she would simply use her abilities. He'd have to catch her off guard and knock her unconscious or something of the sort before she had the chance to use her powers. He knew she wasn't weak, but she seemed a bit too confident in her abilities. From her file she only had the power to manipulate time and some training with military weaponry. And if she were to overuse this power and be unable to use it for a time, or if there was someone who would strike faster than she would be able to use her power, she wouldn't do well. He was also cautious of the commotion a ways away. I'll have to let her do as she wishes for a bit longer... But I can't wait too long. If though rogues plan to strike it will be a nuisance. He mentally mused as he disappeared within the crowds of people once more. |

| As Scorpion, was over the reiling he ran towards the end of the building and then jumped 10 meters down and landed on his feet in a knelt position in the marketplace, then he stood up with ease and started to walk alot of people eying him do to the fact that he just literally came down from a 3 story building, atleast, building and walking off with no problems at all, or was it his mechanical body standing out?, he trully didnt care, he was a blade, a blade that ended threats thats all he ever viewed himself for, friends; who needs that?, family; They are all long dead, there was a reason why he was called Scorpion, obviously not his real name, but he was known to get close to his targets before stinging them, killing them almost instantaniously, was it a sign of mercy?, or just cold blooded murder, that is not known, He kept walking deeper into the market place, he passed in front of Jaeger and Alisa, not even batting an eye at them, even though he was mostly mechanic, he still needed sustainance, but very few amounts, in a piece of bread he could walk a week without any food, and his stomach still digested so he was going to the market to get some food via the kill he just made, if the people around him had an abnormal smell capability they could smell the scent of blood fresh on him. |

| Jaeger could easily smell the blood on Scorpion, even though he was no longer near him. He grimaced slightly from the intense scent of it. He jumped to a tall building, using the smaller ones as stepping stones. He stood at the corner of the building calmly. He closed his eyes and listened to his surroundings. His heightened senses did come in handy while 'hunting', they were also known to save many's lives who were on a hunt with him as even if they couldn't hear something, he could usually with ease. |

| Cocking his rifle, Vector eyed Jaeger through his scope from the top of a building. He had him in his sights, but killing him would reveal no new information. He needed to capture him, see what he knew. He grimaced to himself, and aimed for Jaeger's foot. he fired. |

| Jaeger listened to his environment. Nothing much caught his interest, until he heard the 'click' of a gun being cocked. This sound came from above and behind him. He made no notion that he noticed though. In fact, he merely stood there, not even opening his eyes. His coat was being worn over his shoulders, hiding his arms which were folded behind his back so that even if he did grab his pistol or blade, someone above him wouldn't be able to notice. |

| Alisa noticed Jaeger's intentions. She could read the atmosphere easily enough. With a happy smile, she looked towards where she saw Jaeger for the last time. Her happy smile and excited expression quickly changed as, in her pupils, a small clock appeared. Slow... Moving so slowly that it was almost stopping and it was still slowing down. Once it stopped, Alisa disappeared. She quickly took an entrance towards the Shortcuts. With time standing still, she only reappeared once she was almost at the Shortcuts themselves. |

Yet, he found his mind continuing to wander to the thoughts of his daughter. He shook his head, trying to regain focus as he prepared for a second shot. |

| The next time Vector would look through his scopes, he would see Jaeger's wolf-like eyes staring back at him in the form of a warning scowl. His priority was Alisa, not this man. However, he would make this man a secondary objective and switch focus for a short time if it was necessary. |

| Vector's had hoped his prey would have run. He really did not want to capture him. In truth. he just wanted to get back to his daughter. Yet, he realized that his ultimate goal was to give her a better life, and he would do anything to make it so. He thought long and hard. Shouldering his rifle, Vector stood up. It is pointless to do it this way, he thought. He ripcorded down the roof of the building onto another roof, until he was about 50 yards away from Jaeger. He was out in the open, but so was Jaegar. He approached him silently, hoping for as small a struggle as possible. He could feel the small spikes in his Phase Energy, but that was common when it came to encountering the enemy. Let's get this over with... |

| Scorpion heard the gun shot, who wouldnt be able to hear a gun go off so close anyways?, he activated his sensors and turned around and scanned the area, 2 kilometers range scan and he immidiately saw Vector standing on a tower with a sniper rifle Scorpion simply smiled, what a coward, though he had a pistol himself he didnt like fighting at range, he began running towards the tower using his mechanical body at its peak, he saw he used the sipline and he followed after him, taking about 2 meters with each step as his strength pushed him, he began jumping and soon reached four meters each time, as he neared the buildings he jumped into the wall and hit the wall 8 meters up into the air, then as he decelerated he drew his grappling hook and hit the reiling on the building Vector and Jaegar was standing on and as the grappling hook pulled him to Vector's position he jumped over the reiling holding a hand at his sword staring at Vector like he wasnt even there. "This is your one and only warning, drop your gun, or drop your life." He said in a calm monotone tone, his stare was expressionless, and he was holding his hand on his sword, the phase energy reacting with both of them. |

| Jaeger turned his head slightly to look at both of them. He stared at Scorpion with a stern expression, then at Vector. He was examining both of them. He knew of Scorpion, however not of this man. "Am I necessary here?" He inquired to Scorpion calmly. He knew Scorpion could handle himself, however if this man was apart of the Insurgency, it would be best to take him out as quickly as possible, which would be decently easy with both of them fighting. Though he did know that some preferred for others to not interfere in their 'hunt'. He mainly learned this from one of his bodyguards, Sev, who would often get irritable when either he or his other comrades would help Sev against his 'prey'. Also, his main focus was Alisa after all. |

He had hoped he could get Jaeger to come with him peacefully, but with such intrusions from Scorpion, that possibility seemed to no longer exist. "Hmm..You are Scorpion, I believe. I have no interest in you. I only wish for this man-" he motioned towards Jaegar,"to come with me. I wish to only ask him a couple questions, then let him on his way. Bloodshed here is unnecessary." Vectors phase energy that coursed through his body was spiking at an alarming rate. He could feel it surge throughout his body rapidly. He did not want to harm either Jaegar or Scorpion, but he would not let his mission fail. |

Though he said all this his tone never changed nor did his expression even at his question, he had a rather cold yet serious humor, but he looked at Jaegar. "Negative, you can leave when you see the need to." He looked over at Vector. |

| "Very well, then." Jaeger nodded at Scorpion's response. "I will humor you, at least until I think it best to continue my assignment. Though I suggest you watch how you respond, Vector. Scorpion isn't known for hesitating when aggravated." He warned him. It might sound as if he were being cocky or arrogant, however it was a legitimate warning. Cyborgs and the like were not known for hesitating, they were known for the exact opposite. In fact, Vector was lucky that the cyborg that spotted him was Scorpion who had retained his personality, to an extent at the very least. |

Did you think that would not create a bigger response from the people than a single gunshot?" Vector questioned. "Besides, do you see where we stand? We are in the slums. The dust of this land. Attacks are unfortunately, nothing new." "As for you," he motioned towards Jaegar. "I purposely missed. Now, let us put these arguements behind us, for they are pointless and achieve nothing. Scorpion, I do not underestimate you, nor do I doubt your abilities. Thus, you may judge me as you see fit, but I have a mission, and I will achieve it, one way or another." He shouldered his rifle. He approached Jaegar. "I wish to speak to you about the girl. I take it you know of whom I speak." |

| Scorpion then smiled, the first time he had actually shown an expression to these people, or atleast a human like thing, but his smile was cold, before his smile faded back to his expressionless face. "Negative, I was following mission parameters, so my 'massacre' was a mission I got from head quarters, my missions are absolute." He said, in response to the snide comment he made, then as he walked towards Jaegar he simply stood analyzing the situation but then broke the silence as they talked about the girl. "Moving to terminate..." He pulled his sword completely from his sheath and walked towards Vector holding his sword in one hand, which slowly started to emit its cyber energy. |

| "I apologize, Mister Vector. However that information is classified." Jaeger stated sternly. He turned his eyes back to the streets below. He took note on how Vector stated that he had missed Jaeger on purpose. However, if Jaeger wished, he could have taken evasive action before Vector even shot. As he heard the click of someone cocking their rifle, he could have taken cover from Vector before he fired on him. Though, he didn't see a point in alerting Vector to this. If, one day, they would end up in combat against one another, the fact that Vector didn't know about his heightened senses or underestimated the extent of them would be an advantage for him. |

However if you would just-" He stopped. At the same moment, he noticed Scorpion advancing. So, the cyborg has made his decision,he thought. He drew his blade as well. "Very well, Scorpion. If this is the path you choose," he sighed heavily. "Then I shall relieve you from it." He knew this would not be easy, but he had a daughter, and he would survive to see her again... |

| "Stand down, for you stand in the presence of a king," came a voice from the next building over. Eric Arclight stood with an aura of command as his minions to his left and right aimed rifles at the cybernetic ninja. The one who had spoken was the minion to Eric's left- a king does not simply announce his own presence, it is done for him by another. "You peons stand within my land and are threatening one of my allies, I take that as an insult," Eric announced to the two members of the ISG as he stepped forward. "However, the cybernetic swordsman exterminated a pest within my territory and therefore has benefited my land as a whole. As such, I shall allow you the chance to cease conflict and continue as you were. Refusal of my generous offer, however, is not an option." The air around him crackled and popped with lightning; it was a clear and definitive warning. |

| "I do not hold it against you, Sir Vector. Rest assured, as I hold the same reason for refusing to answer you as well as refusing to go with you." Jaeger spoke calmly. Normally, Jaeger didn't dislike the people he was sent after. More or less all of them had the same reasons, orders from a superior. As he was about to leave after Alisa, he was stopped by the statements of some obviously arrogant man. He glanced at him, examining the man blankly. "If you are his ally, then would that mean that you are allied with this 'Insurgency'?" Jaeger questioned him calmly, ignoring being called a 'Peon'. Minor insults such as that, especially from someone obviously blinded by their own ego, had little to no impact on him whatsoever. |
