| Raynard approached the entrance to one of the gates, cloak equipped and followed by a few wagons of goods and some armored guards. "Good day to you, sir. I have the equipment that was requested. I believe several slaves as well as armor and various weaponry." He said with a polite smile as he showed the guards the trade agreement to show he was indeed being truthful. After some of the other guards quickly glanced at the cargo to make sure everything was really there and nothing out of the ordinary was, he was waved through with the rest of the caravan. The caravan was a legitimate one that Raynard merely 'commandeered' in order to gain access to it. The guards were bribed with the money the trader had and the trader himself was left unconscious and tied to a tree. He'd probably be able to escape but by the time he would get out the Fort would be the Rebel's. Once he was inside he and the caravan went separate ways. Raynard made his way into a secluded alley and reequipped his gear that Shadowrazor wore, which was being held in a pack that he stole from the trader. Well, that was easy. And I have plenty of time until the rebels get here. It'll be a piece a cake. He mused with a deadly smirk and chuckle as he started to get to work. |

| Emi flamed up at the fort looking for Zane. She walked around confused and started looking lost. |
| Raynard had everything prepared for the Rebels for when they would get there. The gates would be open and he even completed the secondary objective of sabotaging the defenses. He was in his normal apparel as the head of the caravan, cloak and hood concealing his face. He noticed Emi wandering around. Isn't that... He mentally inquired. If he was right, that was one of the princesses, and the most naive of the Royal family. Better get her out of here. She won't last two seconds when this place starts going to hell. He mused. "Excuse me, young lady." He called out to her with a polite smile. "Might I ask what you are doing here? You're awful young to wandering about a Fort like this. Are you lost?" As he was, Raynard seemed like a harmless gentleman who wanted to help, nothing like how Shadowrazor came off. |

| Emi turned toward Raymond. She nodded. "I'm looking for Zane-kun. Would you know where he is? He left me with a babysitter I don't like." She said crossing her arms over her chest. "I just wanna see him again cuz he promised to buy me candy again. But he left.. " Emi said slightly looking down. |
| Zane? Wait... Did that fucker do what I think he did? Figures. Lectures me about honor and crap like that everyday yet here he goes and takes a little girl completely naive to the war. Raynard spoke mentally. "Zane huh? Well, I'm sure I can get you some candy now if you want. But, if I am correct, are you not one of the princesses miss? Why are you not in the castle?" He inquired with a friendly smile. |

| "Zane-kun took me with him. I don't mind though, I wanted another person to play with. The people at home are getting boring. And they are always off fighting. But why would they?" She said frustrated. But she perked up at the mention of candy. "Will there be chocolate and lollipops? Those are my favorites. Oh! I forgot to ask. What's your name?" She said smiling. |
| "That's something that's best not to worry about, Lady Emi." Raynard told her with a smile. "Well, this is a fort and not a market... But I'm sure I can find something. Oh, you may call me Raynard." He said bowing slightly. "Oh, but you have to promise me one thing in exchange for getting you the candy. When I say so, please do not hesitate and leave this place, alright? I know you must be curious however it is crucial that you do. Hide in the forest and do not return until either this Zane himself or one of his allies gets you. Can you promise me this, Lady Emi?" |

| Emi didn't understand why she had to hide but nodded anyways. "Nive to meet you Raymond. But please drop the 'lady' it doesn't seem right." She said smiling. "Why is there a fort. There's not something going on right?" She asked tilting her head to the side. |
| "As well to you, Emi." Raynard said with a smile, not saying anything about her incorrectly saying his name. "Every kingdom has a fort, whether there is something going on or not. It's extra defense." He told her without giving her a clear answer. "Now lets go get you that candy." |

| Emi nodded and ran up to grab Raynard's hand. "Are you friends with Zabe?" She asked looking around the fort. She saw Royal gaurds and hid next to him. (My bad about the name!!! >.<) |
| (No problem xD) "Well, I wouldn't say friends. I have merely heard of his exploits." Raynard told her with a smile as he lead her to where several caravans were parked or preparing to leave. "This isn't any of my business, Emi. However, I do not think that your parents were incorrect in keeping you in the castle. Even if it is boring, boring is... sometimes better. It might not make much sense now, however when you are older you will understand what I mean." He told her politely as he avoided the guards and approached one of the traders. "Excuse me, you wouldn't happen to be carrying any sweets would you?" He inquired to the man. Luckily he did and brought a small bag of lollipops which he gave to them in exchange for some of Raynards money. |

| Emi looked up confused. "Hmm ok. I guess I'll understand when I'm older.." She mumbled. She shrugged and continued to walk. She stayed hidden while Raynard made the exchange. |
| Once the exchange was over with, Raynard knelt down and gave her a lollipop. "Here you are, Emi." He offered her with a friendly smile. "Luckily there was a caravan with these sweets." |

| Emi gladly took the candy and stuffed it in her mouth. She smiled and thanked him. "You want one?" She asked holding up another. "They are really good. They taste like strawberries. My favorites." She said munching on the candy. |
| "Thank you, but that's quite alright. They're all for you." Raynard answered her humbly. "Just try to eat them in moderation, alright? They're not as good for you as they taste unfortunately." He warned her with a soft chuckle. |

| "But I've always eaten candy.. I haven't gotten sick yet!" She exclaimed proudly holding up a lollipop. "I don't remember the last time I ate regular food.. Well not including cake and stuff like that." She said her voice fading. Her face was in concentration and she tried to remember the last time she ate a real meal. |
| Raynard chuckled at her response. "Well, you are a demon. So perhaps it is for your kind. But a human like me can't eat sweets all day, my teeth would rot." He told her as he laughed softly and lightly patted her head in a brotherly way. |

| " Aww that must stink!!" Emi exclaimed with wide eyes. " My canines are just starting to grow, so now I can bite down on the lollipops." She said proudly showing him her mini teeth. "See I am a big kid now." |
| Raynard chuckled once more. "That you are, Emi. A beautiful set of teeth it is." He told her. "By the way, may I ask what exactly happened that caused you to meet this Zane? Normally the princess isn't just allowed to go wherever with just anyone, right?" |

| "Hmm I snuck out with a dog hybrid. Kind of fluffly. And he got hurt. I healed him but the injuries get passes to me and I ended up in an alley I think. A vampire healed me and Zabe came along ready to fight. I do not like fighting so I slapped them and stood infront of them to prevent it. The next thing I knew he grabbed me and I was in a cave." She said shrugging. "I don't mind so much." |
