| Exodus rested his chin on his hand as he thought to himself. Everyone knows about the rebel faction and yet despite the queen's cruelty not nearly enough recruits are coming in. We need to make a stand.... have a victory.... show that we can win this long battle. Once again we need to inspire those weaklings that would live under the queen in a cruel peace to stand and fight.... but how? |
| Walking back to the camp, Zane was quickly followed by many recruits. They asked him many questions: "Zane, are going on a mission, can we follow?" One of them asked to Zane, who was simply walking without much objective. Zane turned himself around and smirked. "No, no one is going to follow me around and into missions. At least, not if you value your life." He said, huffing softly before he continued to walk, leaving the recruits behind him without anything to say. As he walked into the camp, he saw Exodus. He quickly walked by Exodus and gave him a quick glance, stopping his steps when he noticed the look on his eyes. "What's wrong, Exodus? Got any ideas?" He questioned blankly. He wanted to know if Exodus actually had a plan. Though Zane did not cared much if the Rebels won or lost, he found Exodus an intriguing person. |

| Exodus glanced up at Zane and blinked. Zane was a strong fighter and held a grudge against the Queen, so Exodus felt fine telling him what was on his mind. Sure, the solider had some faults in his insatiable bloodlust, but honestly it could make him all the more useful in the right situation and he seemed like a normal man from what he'd seen of him. "I want to... cause a commotion." Nodding slightly at his words, he looked up as he pondered further the goals of the operation. "Something that will show the citizens loyal to the Queen to fear us, and the ones quivering at her feet that we can stand against her rule." Goals were one thing but figuring out how to fulfill them in a manner without too many casualties was much more difficult. "Honestly I'd love to free the slaves and recruit them, but attacking the castle directly will cause massive losses for our army and we could be crushed. Can you think of any other way to get the attention of the masses and show our strength, maybe an event or something we can capture?" He turned back to Zane, deciding his best bet was to bounce ideas. |
| When Exodus mentioned the word 'commotion', Zane immediatly smirked. His expression showed that he knew exactly what to do. His smirk was something quite ferocious in a certain way, with his canines sharp and long enough to be compared to a Vampire. "Well, we can do many things. That depends on what kind of 'commotion' we are talking about. If it's about a bloodbath, I can go into the Castle and cause a big ruckus. However, if we're talking about an image, we can burn the Queen's statue, destroy incoming shipments of weapons and supplies or just free some slaves in the coast, which is where they come from." Zane proposed a flurry of ideas. Unlike most soldiers, he was someone who was incredibly well-informed. |

| While the bloodbath certainly had its appeal, Exodus wasn't going to ignore the possibly that Zane would kill just as many potential allies as enemies, thus leading to a bad view of the rebel army as a whole. Plus, Zane could clearly die if he went in alone. The other ideas seemed beneficial but might not give enough impact. Nonetheless they would get the Queen's attention, and with that they could work further by disrupting any attempt at a counter strike. "Those are good ideas.... I'll certainly consider them and put some of the information division on tracking when the next shipment of slaves or supplies arrive. But as for the operation....how about we capture a fort or town? If we can do that we'll show our power and have a place to recruit from that refugees can go to. Soon after we'll need to capture supplies and weapons for the new recruits, but that can wait. That said I also like the statue idea... so do you know if the Queen has any fort or town nearby in which her statue stands?" |
| Zane's smirked disappeared into a more serious expression. Since they were not talking about anything involving a great deal of bloodshed, he had no real intention of going in too serious. However, he had one Fort in mind. "Fort Senora. It's located in the shores of the Yzure Bay. Basically, we'll have access to incoming shipments from other countries and also have a new base of operations. Besides that, we will, from now foward, have our own Dock that will allow us to trade shipment with other rebel towns or forts. However, Fort Senora is heavily armed and guarded. We may also consider the posibillity of encountering someone like the Chain Warden in there or other Spirit Guardian." Zane explained, pulling up a map from his pocket and showing where Yzure Bay was, also showing where Fort Senora was located. The place had territorial advantage but if someone managed to infiltrate it and open the way from the inside, it should be an easy mission. |

| "Thanks for the assistance...." As he spoke Exodus's concentration was shifted to the map as he tried to get a good grasp on how he should plan things out and move troops towards the area. Clearly their main advantages would be that the royal family would have most of the troops and themselves in the castle and castle town, so the rebels would outnumber the capable fighters there. Although he heard quite a bit about the Chain Warden Exodus was confident in his own men and if it came down to it, his own battle capabilities. In fact, he trusted himself to get the job done so much more that he was considering infiltrating himself. As of yet his true identity was unknown and almost no one had seen him out of his armor. But that was foolish, if he was found out he would lose a major advantage and could possibly die without his armor and weaponry, leaving the army without a leader. Grim was a plausible option due to his training in stealth but he had his faults. There was another assassin, right? Oh yes... Shadowrazor. Of course either had the chance of getting caught and cost funds to do special jobs like infiltration. Honestly he had Arianna in the back of his mind but he didn't want to compromise her position by putting her in the location that they were to attack, making her look guilty. It depended on how well trusted she was and of course she would have to evacuate safely as soon as the attack began or she would be "captured" by the rebels, thus losing her ability to continue her undercover work in the castle town. Nothing better was coming to mind, however. He should probably send a messenger just to ask if she was willing to. No...he couldn't compromise her position like that. "As things stand I think I'll contact Grim and Shadowrazor for infiltration, although you've been a great help so far so if you have an alternative please suggest it. I'll either have them escort you in so you can create a ruckus or you'll take the vanguard into the fort once the gates open." |
| Zane shook his head. "Infiltration would be good for ShadowRazor. Having him infiltrating is an excellent plan, even though I don't trust him much. He also said he was in a personal mission. I'll offer him any information he wants and I'll bet he accepts this operation." Zane told him, also analysing the map. Since Senora was located with it's back to the sea, a direct hit would be foolish. The best idea was an night assault. Taking in an army was also an idea Zane disapproved, it would call the attention of the Royal Family and the rage of the Symbols of Death. Both of them were very dangerous crews. Zane hummed a song as he looked at the map and made his plan. "All right, I'm thinking of having a small crew go inside during day and open the gates on the morning night. When they open the gate, a small group of forty to sixty men with me and you on the vanguard go in. They will call for reinforcements and I will stay back to hold them out while you and the assault group go in, destroy anyone and anything hostile that gets on your way. By that time, I will have probably already dealt with the reinforcements." He explained his plan, making a few marks on the map. Fort Senora was located on the south side of the Yzure Bay. Obviously, the reinforcements would come from the far South of the fort. Using this as an advantage, Zane would be able to make a strong trap that would take them by surprise. The Assault group could go inside in two ways. Either coming from the Shore, on the North, or invading by the gates on the south and east. The infiltration group would go in secretely and with the correct clothes so that no one would suspect them. |

| Zane was a decent strategist and worthy of being a second lieutenant it seemed, despite his sadistic side, but parts of his plan didn't make complete sense to Exodus. They were trying to make a commotion so he saw no reason to avoid the attention of the Royal Family. Plus he saw no possibility of the Queen leaving her beloved castle over something like this. So why sacrifice their advantage in numbers? Forty men might be enough for a capture but he didn't see that amount being sufficient to both capture and hold off reinforcements, although they would surely create a trap and after that they would have the tactical advantage of the fort to use. If they sent men from the hideout to intercept the reinforcements however, they would be wasting the opportunity to set a trap and probably lose many men. If they were going to do this they would have to take more men with them and something made Zane not want to do that, so he asked directly. "Why such a small number? We'll increase our odds and probably lower our casualties if we overwhelm them." |
| "Well for now..." He spoke softly before calling out. "I need a messenger that can find someone in the castle for me and deliver a message." After a short while a man came up and Exodus whispered in his ear about what message to deliver and to whom. |
| (Sorry for no posting, I completely forgot it. =X) Zane closed his eyes and sighed as he tried to formulate a reponse that clearly meant what he wanted to say. "Well, there are two reason. One is strategic, the other is... a little personal." He told him as he pointed on the map the only entrance to Yzure Bay: The Sun Valley. A valley that looked more like a corridor with an exit that leaded right to Yzure Bay. This was one of the reasons why Yzure Bay was an excellent point to have a base at. Zane then looked away slightly, obviously not telling Exodus about the personal reason. "Yzure Bay has only one entrance. Alone, I can handle any kind of reinfocement they send because of the strategic point that is Sun Valley. However, this can be a strategy that will work against us. I say the less people we take, the better. Also, that will serve to show the Queen that we have skill and not only numbers." Zane explained to him the strategic reasons why he disliked the ideia of having so many people on only one operation. |

| Frankly Exodus was far from convinced. Nonetheless Zane had helped a lot and seemed to have a personal reason. Of course he wouldn't let that get in the way of his goal, but he would make Zane bare the burden himself. He said he could handle any reinforcements himself so Exodus planned on letting him do just that. If he failed then they would have hopefully occupied the base by that time and could defend it quite well. "Okay." Exodus nodded. "In that case I'll take 50 men into the fort myself while you intercept any reinforcements arriving. Don't screw this up and don't underestimate her soldiers. Is that fine with you?" |
| Zane smirked even further. "Oh, come on, Exodus! Everyone knows the best I can do is kill. I'm more than qualified to handle a few reinforcements." Zane said, obviously ignoring Exodus' second comment about not undererstimating the soldiers. However, he could easily back-up his cockiness, being strong enough to hold almost anything, he was on rights. "So, I'll go prepare and arm up. Remember, the attack is at night, so we'll meet up at the Sun Valley, 4 AM, is that okay with you?" Zane asked, smirking with excitment. |

| (Normally I'd wait a day since we don't even have Shadowrazor's answer yet... but I'm impatient sooo....) "I'll prepare our men and we will arrive by 4. I trust you know the importance of your role so I won't continue on about it, simply know that the lives of many of our men will be dependent on your actions." Zane's confidence was assuring but not completely. There was always the chance an enemy commander or particularly skilled solider would arrive and wound Zane badly enough to scare him off. Abandonment was something Exodus would not have and he needed to make sure Zane was ready to fight to the death if need be, even though he would prefer not to lose the man in battle. "If the enemy lines seem ready to break past you then signal us so we can prepare and try not to die out there." With all this said Exodus was confident in there ability to secure the base with minimal losses. |

| Zane sighed, having his arm hurt in the process of the teleport. He made a grunt, having his arm slightly injured. He quickly hid his arm before he turned towards Emi and gave her a hand to get her up. "Sorry for that, lady, I didn't had much of a choice. It was that or destroy the entire Marketplace for my escape. He said, looking around himself to see where they were. Then, with a slightly loud 'Ah!' he understood where they were. If he could say correctly, they were on a Cave next to the Rebel Hideout. This cave was his 'room'. |

| Eliot appeared just before the cave. He appeared in mid air so failed down. "damn does things never really work so well..." he touches the back of his head because of the pain. He looked at the cave the was before him. for some reason it was familiar. He entered it without knowing it. "halo? is there anyone here?" |

| Zane quickly hid this location from any kind of teleporter and disactivated any kind of locator Emi had on her body. He slowly watched her as she slept down before he left his room and went out towards the Rebel Camp, that was inside the Hideout. Having himself walking around, he went to the only place he liked, the barracks. Zane picked up his sword and slowly started to train a little, trying to get better so that he could defeat that guy he met before, the first of all Vampires. It wouldn't be much of challenge to defeat him, but he had to find a way to defeat him in an easier form than before. |

Panting, looked towards Ellot with a eerie seriousness. His eyes had a tinge of red but he quickly looked away to hide it. "Who are you? What is it that you want?" Zane asked coldly, his voice being stopped to continue his panting. |

He repeated to himself, having his mind in thought. "You may call me whatever you want. My name is Zane, though." Zane told him, having his cold eyes and serious expression placed on Ellot. His sword shone the same red light it had shone when he was fighting against the Vampire. "Shush, my blade, we will have revenge... I promise." He said, turning back towards Ellot. |

I am Zane, an Anarchist and Rebel." He announced, flashing a quick grin at her before returning to his kind smile. |

His smile was unaffected by her words, making him look like a simple yet happy man. He was no man, though. "Well, hold on little girl." He said, raising his hand, the universal sign of 'stop'. "You don't need to tell me everything about your life. I just asked your name. But... Why were you in the middle of the fight between me and that damned vampire?" He questioned, crouching to get on her height-level. |

"That's a very nice sentiment but, as long as there are different ways of thinking, there will be war. Violence is part of who we are." Zane said, raising his head as well to look at the same blue sky above them. Too blue for Zane's liking, he quickly turned his head back towards her. "We shouldn't speak of these things. Why don't you come with me to the Rebel's HQ? I saw you picking up candies. Would you like some? I can buy them in the HQ's market." He told her, smiling gently once more. Though most wouldn't believe in it, this was the real Zane. |

He quickly let go of her hand and allowed her to go ahead of him. He stood still, awaiting for the new uninvited guest. |

"Go away, you're not welcome here. If she wishes to go with you, I will allow her, if not, I will protect her." Zane said, scowling as he stepped on Thomas' sword to make sure he would not get it. Zane quickly drawed off the BloodBane, showing that he was very serious about his threat. |
