I've watched all Special A episodes dubbed and usually I quite like dubs but this one had all the wrong voice actor choices. Almost none of them suited the characters. The only exceptions I can think of were Blake Shepherd as Kei and Chris Patton as Ryuu. The others were just so misplaced, the major con Andrew Love as Tadashi. I just can't see him playing Tadashi at all. Tadashi had a much more high pitched and sillier voice in the sub version and here he sounds exactly like Akio Furukawa with the same manly voice. Don't get me wrong, I really like Andrew Love and all the other voice actors, they're all extremely talented (especially Monica Rial, one of my favourite VAs of all time) but the dub could have been better imo. The sub version was perfect and it had gone for a long time without having a dub so maybe that's why. I've heard much much worse dubs, but I was just disappointed with this one which is sad really because it has a very favourable and talented cast.
