| This is the queen's area, everyone is fair game to her. She will not fight or attempt to kill anyone unless provoked, I'm not making her a god or unkillable. | Artemis sat on her throne, Bored as usual. "Geez... its no fun around here anymore. It was more fun when the rebels attacked I was able to kill every single one of them..." she sighed out of boredom. She made a few slaves line up as she threw knives at them. "Dance, slaves! Dance!" She laughed sadistically. |
| Masaru entered the throne room and held a deadpanned look as he watched Artemis. Though he was used to his mother's... entertainment if you could call it that. He was training with the castle guard, though it wasn't much training for him as he was already far ahead of them in terms of combat capability. "Bored again, mother?" He inquired calmly. |

| Artemis stopped for a moment to answer Masaru's question. "Unfortunately, yes...its been so dull lately." She smirked. "Why don't we start a war? I get to kill and we get more land! Its a win-win." She released the slaves and they all scurried away in a hurry. |
| "If that's what you wish." Masaru said with a sigh. "At the moment, if there are some rebels, they're much to weak to do anything even if most of our forces were off in another empire's territory." He spoke as he glanced at the slaves as they retreated, not that he could blame him. He was probably regarded as one of the luckiest people in the empire as being the son of the Queen exempts you from 'playing' with her like she does with the slaves usually. |

| Reaper glanced at her son once again, "Masaru... I've been thinking. What do you think of me? As a queen and as your mother?" She tapped one of her fingers on her cheek. "I want you to be honest now, Kay?" |
| Masaru glanced at her once more, though he wasn't wearing a scowl, he was wearing a soft, blank expression as he would usually wear around his family. He closed his eyes calmly, thinking how to word it. "As a mother, I can tell that you care for us. That's all that matters to me at least. As a Queen, I believe that some of the actions you make aren't necessary and some are. " He explained. If she was asking if he disliked her, he really didn't. Just because she was sadistic and he had little interest in causing pain didn't mean he condemned her for it. "Why the sudden question?" |

| Reaper just smiled, "well, its something I've been asking myself but I needed someone else's opinion." She nodded her head, "my son, I do trust you with my kingdom one day. I know this came out of nowherebut its ssomething that's been on my mind lately..." she explained. |
| "You're still my mother. It doesn't really matter how sadistic you are, I'll still care about you." Masaru added before letting out a sigh. "Though that was slightly more cheesy than I'd have liked." He spoke again. |

| (May I make a childhood friend for Masaru? It just seemed like a good idea to me.) "I have a request... fight me." Artemis stood up and held out her chain. "I wanna see how much you've improved." She took a step back, she observed her son fighting before and believed she knew all his skills already. |
| (Sure ^^ Go for it. I would've ended up making one if you didn't. All the funner if someone else makes it in my opinion though :D) Masaru raised an eyebrow at that, though he didn't object. He didn't really have to worry about holding back either, which made it less of a nuisance for him. He knew his mother could be bloodthirsty and cocky, but she would be tactical when needed. She would probably know better than to underestimate him. "Very well." He agreed. He stood there and waited for an attack. What was strange about how Masaru fought is that he would usually keep his hands shoved in his pockets until necessary, even against strong opponents. And he wouldn't use a katana unless his life depended on it. |

| (Yay ^_^ I kinda had it planned out so I already posted it) Messiah bursted through the doors, running towards Masaru. She wrapped her arms around him and gave him a hug. "Masaru-kun!" She said excitedly. "How was your day?" She asked ignoring the fact they were about to battle. "Welcome, Messiah." Artemis greeted her, she flipped her hair and wondered if he should attack anyways. She just wanted to see how ready Masaru was. She sent one of her chains flying towards them both. |
| Masaru stumbled slightly with a soft blush on his face. "Baka... Don't just jump on me like that from no where..." He scolded her with a sigh, quite quickly regaining his composure. Even though he'd known Messiah since he was young, being the prude that he is, he would still get slightly flustered when she just jumped on him like that. Though he was still paying attention to Artemis. He knew better than to let his guard down. He spun them both out of the way of the chain, though it was slightly more difficult to evade as Messiah had her arms wrapped around him. |

| Messiah held onto him a little tighter before letting go of him. "What's going on, Masaru?" She asked him curiously, she wasn't scared. She had no reason to be, she could handle her own fights if she had to. Reaper quickly pulled back her chain, "impressive... now that we're done with that test let's see you handle this!" She faded and appeared on the other side of the room only to throw multiple chains at them. She smirked, she was relieved to finally fight again. |
| "Mother wishes to test me." Masaru answered her before evading the several chains that were sent at him. Now that Messiah had released him he didn't have to swing her around and dodge with her. Though he knew his Mother wasn't going all out. She was merely testing his reflexes at the moment. |

| Yuki *wakes up, she goes in and watched* |
| "Perfect!" She commented. "You've been training well." Artemis smirked once again then got a chain to wrap around his ankle. She pulled him towards her, waiting to see his reaction time. She wasn't gonna hurt him, he was her son after all. Messiah, slightly in panic, quickly walked away from them. She waited to see how this would play out, she didn't worry too much. She expected Masaru to win the battle, like always, she sided with him. |
| Masaru glanced once at his sister Yuki as well as Messiah as she walked away. When the chain tried to wrap around his ankle, he allowed it, and it didn't take long for him to sturdy himself and grip the chain firmly, stopping himself from being pulled. Of course, in an actual battle, this wouldn't be the best idea unless the opponent was a weakling. But this wasn't a serious battle. |

| Yuki *keeps on watching, like she was learning of her mum and brother. she found it somewhat entertaining too* |
| Reaper gave the chain a good yank before letting it go and watching it dislove. "Play time is over.... you did good, I'm proud." She said as she walked over to her throne. She sat done and ordered a slave to get her some wine. Messiah stood near Yuki. "Hey, Yuki-chan!" She said happily. Even though she had a sick and twisted mind, she was pretty nice to everyone. |
| "Well, I have been training since I was young. Though in an actual fight it wouldn't have been that easy and allowing the chain to wrap around my ankle would have been a check mate against myself since I was dealing with you." Masaru responded to her. "So have there been any signs of rebels lately? Well, any major signs at least." |

| "Not that I'm aware of." Reaper answered. "Who knows what they're up to." She yawned and stretched, "I might retire soon, you kids can run along if you want. I have no further business with you at the moment." Messiah clapped her hands cheerfully. "Looks like you won, Masaru!" She smiled brightly, like usual when she's not being blood thristy. "What do you wanna do now?" She asked. "Maybe we should start a fight somewhere!" |
| "I didn't really win... It wasn't even a real fight..." Masaru said with a deadpanned stare at her. His sweat dropped as well when she immediately suggested that they start a fight. He somewhat wondered if he was to blame for her battle lusting attitude as that's how he used to act as a child. He let out a sigh. "I'm not sure starting a fight would be a good idea... Any other suggestions?" He inquired calmly as he approached her, softly patting Yuki on the head as he did. |

| "Oh! I have an idea!" Messiah jumped up and down in excitement. "Let's go get some sweets!" She quickly licked her lips and smiled. "Sounds fun, right yuki-chan?" She swirled around like a ballerina would then hugged Masaru. Reaper gave a slight smile, "it was just a test, its nothing impressive." She was amused to see the kids or should I say younger people being at least somewhat happy. "Yuki, how have you been training lately?" She asked. |
| "Well, that's better than picking random fights with people. You'd probably be able to defeat most people anyway." Masaru said calmly. He gained another light blush when she hugged him again, but retained his calm expression. |

| Reaper turned her head over to the servant who just walked in. "Yes. I require some treats for the young ones." She requested, she then turned back to Yuki. "How did it happen?" She asked. Artemis was usually known to be cruel but how she acted with her kids was an entirely different story. Messiah smiled happily then let go of Masaru, "That's true but its more fun to let them think they'll have a chance." She commented. "Oh, I wonder what kind of treats we'll get. I bet they'll be yummy." She let out a small excited squeal. |
| "I just think you want to act like a weakling before scaring them shitless with your actual power..." Masaru said with a deadpanned look. He let out a sigh and patted the top of her head. Even though she was quite excitable around him, he found that amusing. She is his friend since childhood, so it kind of grew on him. |

| "Perfectly fine, they look quite impressive actually." Reaper uncharacteristically commented. She never really complimented servants or anyone below her. Messiah's smile grew. "Look, Masaru-kun!" She let out another squeal. "They look totally delicious!" She ran up to the butler and tatsed one of the chocolates. "Masaru-kun! Come on, try one!" |
| Yuki well you know that trick you taught me to bring those people i can use for training, well i was using them and my dagger got caught on something and i fell, my hand got in the way *pout* |
| Masaru followed Messiah and took a lollipop. He placed it in his mouth quite calmly as opposed to his childhood friend. "You really like sweets don't you?" He inquired as he tasted the lollipop. It was good, but his expression didn't show it as usual. |

| Messiah poked Masaru's cheek, "come on, smile. Please?" She begged him, well, to her that was begging. She then looked at the butler. "Here." She shoved a lollipop in his mouth. " try one." Reaper petted Yuki on her head. "My poor daughter. Try to be more cautious next time." She said as she pointed to the sweets. "Go have one, my dear." |

| "You've seen me smile before. I just don't smile that often..." Masaru told her with a sigh. He didn't feel comfortable smiling with people who he wasn't close to. And even then he couldn't really control it. His 'mask' just came off when it wanted to. |

| "If you want to then we can. It can't be a rebel. Why would a vampire go straight to the castle and attack it alone?" Masaru inquired. "It makes no sense." |

| Masaru rubs the top of Yuki's head. "Don't worry. Whoever it is won't get far. No need to worry." He told her. Though he was suspicious of why someone would try something that stupid, maybe they were drawing attention away for something. |

| "I'll stay here with you if you'd like." Masaru offered Yuki as he continued to rub her head. "Besides, it might be best. If we stay here and this fool truly is just a distraction, we can respond to it with more ease." He told Messiah. |

| ( I don't want my cahr to be stuck any more so, and I already set up saying that oceans char was killing guards so i'll just have my cahr sneak out now,) another guard charges in and reports about the attacker and grim uses this as a distraction to get away and moves to the forest, |
