THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.

The whole run through of what would have happened was pretty interesting. Made me kinda wish it had happened that way.

Nice seeing Nobunaga indirectly showing his bond with Hideyoshi. And Hattori Hanzo making an appearance. I like how the show can switch gears so suddenly, giving some resolution to Mitsunari and then more displays of righteousness with Yagyu and Hakon.

So now Echigo's back in battle, wonder how long this is gonna last.

I'm not going to lie - I did fall asleep during this episode. But it really wasn't because I found it boring. I just find this show so damn relaxing. I can just lean back and rest and watch samurais do their fineass thing and there's genuinely little else I'd rather do with my early mornings. Both Keiji and Kanetsugu seemed really sassy and charismatic this episode too, even more so than usual, and there's something about their laughing and grins and casual sake drinking that just lulls me.

Interesting to see so many historical figures making eccentric appearances in this show. And now a war coming up. Maybe we do get a whole season out of it?

Everyone who's watched until this point in the show is a true brother bound by righteousness.

Righteousness and manly samurai connect people.

Glad to be part of this brotherhood. :D

Good episode, loved the confrontation between the Yagyu bodyguard and Naoe, and how he attacked that rock, then they all got to drinking, epic stuff lol.

Hmm I'm not sure why I continue watching it but I do enjoy the show for some intangible reason. I do like watching samurai fight but there really isn't much fighting in this series. xD I suppose it's the mindset and wargaming in their head that's pretty interesting. This episode of what would've been the outcome was pretty awesome.

I actually am really fond of the iron fan. I think I recall reading there's one or two stories of real samurai defending themselves against attackers when they didn't have their swords though I wonder how true such stories are.

It was psychologically intense. I had expected Sakon to take some action battle-wise, but his presence itself was overwhelming enough to not need a battle.

So nobody did mention about that fabulous and manly OST at the end of the episode? Holy shit, I can't wait to listen that album OST.
Anyway, good and relaxing episode, Kanetsugu is the man.
Now, I'm looking forward to see the incoming war.

Is it okay to be a sister bound by righteousness? 'Cause I've been loving this show from the start! I don't know why it's getting the ratings it is :(
Sisters bound by righteouness are just as welcome!
