Looks like it ended May the first. I can't read the manga myself (because no one translates it) but it is different. The anime has much fillers and has an open ending. You don't know what will happen with Kirari, Hiroto and Seji. The manga does show that in the end. (I only heard a summary from someone so I don't know if it''s really true.)

Sorry for the awfully late reply but:

1. Yes, it has ended in Japan, but just recently.

2. The manga is completely different from the anime. The anime has a lot of fillers and more characters (i.e. Kira Pika and MilkyWay never happened in the manga although I am pretty sure the artist oversaw the character designs).

So I know this thread is old but I have this question too. Just finished the episodes of Kirarin Revolution that have been translated. I was expecting to be able to go over to the manga but I haven't found any site that has translated more than 14 30p chapters. Any help in finding a way to finish the story in English would be greatly appreciated!

Added this because of nostalgia. This manga introduced me into a comic collector
