| "I can see why." |
| "yeah...the harder it is to make, the longer it needs to recharge" |
| "That would make sense." |
| "yup hehe" he sits down and places the sword in front of him on the table |
| "Do you spend a lot of time here?" Mai went back to looking around |
| "Yeah pretty much" |
| "you must enjoy what you do by the looks of it" |
| "its a good job...i mainly did it because of my dad but...yeah i really like it" |
| "It's good you do something that you like." |
| "yeah i guess" he smiles |
| Mai smiled and pulled out the sketch book and a pencil to do a rough outline. |
| Smiles in the chair watching her as he thinks to himself |
| She stopped for a moment to look around again and continued on. She started on some of the more detail work. |
| sits back in his chair looking at the ceiling |
| "Want a look?" Mai said looking up again |
| "Sure" he gets up and goes over to her and looks at the drawing "Wow thats pretty good for being unfinished" |
| "Thanks" She continued on. |
| he sits next to her and watches her draw |
| Finishing off the pencil sketch sh sat the pencil down. "I might go back and add some color later." |
| "im sure it will be amazing Mai" he smiles |
| She smiles. "Hope it does" |
| "i bet it will" he smiles and stands up "want some tea?" |
| "That sounds good right about now." |
| "Ill get to work then" he smiles and goes to the kitchen and starts brewing the tea |
| Mai went back to her drawing adding more details here and there while fixing a few lines. |
| Kazu comes back a few minutes later with two cups of tea and sets them on the table"here you go Mai" |
| She smiles. "Thanks." |
| "No problem" he smiles back and sits down and drinks his tea |
| Mai took a sip. "It's good." |
| "hehe thanks" he smiles and drinks some more |
| "So how long have you been around here in this town?" |
| "ooh...around a year..and a half" |
| "So not too long" |
| "yeah not too long" he smiles |
| "So what made you come here?" |
| "Well i only really came here to do my job but....after my dad died...i thought it was best i stay here, make a good life for myself in his memory..its what he would of wanted for me" |
| "I see. Seems to me you liked your father a lot." |
| "i did, he was a great man...and my friend" he smiles happily as he remembers his father "another thing ive noticed how old are you? you seem as young as me" |
| "I'm 21. And you are?" |
| "23" he laughs "seems i was right were both pretty young then" |
| "Yup, seems we're close in age as well." |
| "i wonder what else were similar in haha" |
| Mai shrugged. "Who knows." |
| he laughs and smiles "i guess we'd have to find out eventually" |
| Mai smiles. "Well if we keep going at the rate we've been going I don't think it'll be to long till we find out more." |
| "if we keep going? i dont think anything will stop us" he smiles |
| "I guess thats true." |
| he laughs and smiles at her |
| Mai smiles. "I'm glad I stopped by this town." |
| "Im glad you stopped by too, its been a while since i had this much fun" |
