| The two headed back in the direction of the school. 'This was too easy.' Michael thought. |
| "Do you want me to stick around with you tonight, just to make sure you're okay?" Michael asked, knowing she suspected something from her thoughts. |
| "Okay." He said, kissing her forehead just to be convincing. |
| He smiled back. |
| Michael's smile stuck; he was pleased that his plan was going accordingly. |
| "Are you sure you're all right?" |
| "Okay, if you're sure." |
| "You're probably just tired." |
| "Yeah, you don't need to tell me." Michael replied. |
| "I'm sorry you got dragged into all of this stuff with me and Lucas." |
| "Yeah, that's true." |
| Michael was silent, slightly unsure of what to say next. |
| "I'm glad you thought so; a day just to hang out really helps you to unwind." |
| "Especially since there's probably going to be more stuff we'll have to deal with in the future." |
| "Yeah. Oh well, it's makes days like this more special." Said Michael. 'That is definitely something he'd say.' |

| 'Perfect.' Michael thought, giving a pleasant smile. |
| They headed back to the school in silence. |

| [Gwen's room I guess.] |
| Josef and Gwen got to the city. The sun was shining and it was nice and warm. |
| "Yeah...." Josef said distractedly. |
| "Did Lucas seem...unusually harsh to you?" |
| "I thought he would be happy...being human now." |
