| 'She knows I'm here...' He thought. 'Oh well, I'll just lie low.' |
| "Kay." Josef replied. 'This is weird...' |
| Michael continued to follow them. |
| We should probably go back to the school. He won't try anything there." |
| "Let's just hope we came make it there without any problems." |
| "Good point." |
| "I'm with you there." |
| Michael was still following at about a ten meter distance. Suddenly, Josef stopped. |
| "I...I can't move." Josef said, alarmed. Michael smiled slightly. |
| 'I don't really care if you're in the mood for it.' Michael's voice sprang into her head. |
| Michael came up to the two casually, still smiling. "I don't really think you're in the position to be making demands." He said. "What do you want?" Josef asked, irritated. |
| "You kind of remind me of that vampire friend of Alistair's. what was it? Evangeline or something?" |
| "Apparently all the time." Michael scowled. "Oh no, I'm not with Alistair. Like I'd follow under vampire scum like him." |
| "Nothing from you." Said Michael dismissively. "Although," he looked at Josef. "You my good little puppy, are going to be my leverage." |
| "I'm not going to do anything for you you arrogant--" Michael raised his hand and immediately Josef was cut off. "That's enough bark from you I think." |
| "You don't seem to realize that I can do anything I want; I'm much more powerful than you are." |
| Michael looked over to his left and gave a small gesture. Seconds later, a woman appeared from around the corner. Her nails were black. "So," said Michael, "I don't really care a whole lot for you right now, but I still have a plan and a moody little teenage vampire isn't going to spoil it for me." Michael put a hand on Josef's shoulder. Josef went rigid, and a few seconds later Michael's eyes closed and he dropped to the ground. Josef's eyes suddenly turned black. |
| Josef looked at Gwen, giving her a twisted grin. "Just following my plan." |
| "Not going to happen." Said Michael, chuckling slightly. "You think you'll scare me just with a silly little threat?" |
| "Yeah well, if I'm going to pull this off, no one can be suspicious, including you." He raised his hand and a faint blue light started to glow. "You're not going to remember this." |
| The blue light enveloped her for a second; it would erase her memory of having seen Michael at all and leave her passed out for a few seconds. |
| Michael glanced back at the other demon. "Hide that please." He said, gesturing to his original body. She nodded and picked up Michael's limp, abandoned form, heading back into the shadows. Michael turned back to Gwen, changing his expression to one of concern. "Gwen? Gwen, are you okay?" He asked hurriedly, mimicking Josef. |
| "I dunno; you said you were dizzy and then you just collapsed." Michael said, holding back a grin. "Are you okay?" |
| "Well I guess you're just a bit over tired. Things haven't quite caught up with you yet." |
| "Come on, it's getting late. I think we should go back to the school." |
