| Josef and Gwen arrived in front of the hospital. |
| "You don't need to tell me." He said, following her. At the front desk there was a woman sitting and when they approached she said "What can I help you with." "We...need to see Doctor Mason Caradin, please. It's urgent." She paused for a second. "I see." She said. "Hold on please." She added as she went down the hall. |
| A few seconds later, A tall man in a doctor's coat came around to the front desk. "I'm guessing...CLaire sent you, right?" He said to them. "We need your help." "I figured." Mason replied. "Come with me.'' He started down the hall. |
| Josef went as well. "Is this for you?" Mason asked Gwen. |
| "You're...brother? He's...? You two must have an odd relationship." "Please I can't do small talk right now. He's dying and we need this as fast as possible." Mason was silent. After a minute, they came up to a door. "Wait here." He said. |
| "Barely a minute later, Mason comes back with what looks like a grocery bag, but Josef knew what was inside it. "Is this fast enough for you?" He said, handing her the bag. "If that's all you need. You're in a hurry I think." "Yeah." Josef said flatly. "Come on Gwen let's go.'' |
| Josef turned around and started walking. "Claire never mentioned he was a dick." He whispered. "Well this dick can hear you." Mason remarked. |
| "Sorry." He said as they exited the hospital. |
| "Let's go." |
| Josef started running back. |
| "Okay!" |
| Adam arrived with Evangeline at the hospital. "So, do we just ask for him or what?" |
| Adam entered the hospital. As he did so, Mason was walking to the front office, but he stopped when he saw Adam. "Is there a reason you're here?" He asked. |
| "Uh, hi." Said Adam. "Um, You know Lucas Black right?" Mason paused for a second. "Let's talk somewhere else. My office is this way." He said, gesturing down the hall. Adam nodded. |
| Adam followed Mason until they came to his office. "So," he said. "I know he's probably made me out to be the 'go to' guy but I'm not here to help with every single problem there is. Besides, you're a demon, what would you want from me?" "I was...wondering if you knew anyone who could help me out. I haven't been...like this long and I just..." "Need help adjusting?" "Yeah...." |
| "Well, I do know one person, although I can't say we're on the best of terms." "If it's too much trouble-" "No, that's fine." Said Mason. "It's my daughter, Theresa. I know she's working right now, but if you want to come by our place later we can sort things out I know I gave the boys my card and it has my address on it." "Thank you." Said Adam. |
| "I can't help with everything, but when I can I'll do my best." Mason replied. |
| "Well I do have things to get to so..." "Right, we'll get out of your way." Said Adam, leaving the office. "Thanks again." "You're welcome. I hope she can help you." |
| The two left the hospital. "Well, that went well." |
| "Lead? What do you mean?" |
| "Oh, I see. Yeah, I guess." |
| "Oh yeah, definitely." |
| "Nothing in particular, no." |
| Adam started back to Alistair's house. |
