Just as the title says. Discuss about the Jäger design in the movie and vote your favourite.

The one with Eureka in the name.
And no, I have not seen the movie, is it so great that there must be an anime page based on it?

Striker Eureka! It's design is nearly flawless and really showing off how it is deemed with the most mobility capability.

@sushi: Watch it!!!
I wouldn't say as far as it's the greatest mecha+kaiju movie ever, but at the very least it redefined the standard for shooting a film of giant creature.

Doraemon:
That is indeed the case.

I wish we'd have seen more from Cherno, though.

@Nid: hmm, I guess so. but the rumor has it that if the movie has sequel the story will be focusing on the past, so big chance coyote tango will be the main robot by then.

and also crimson typhoon!

Me too. I really loved that one in particular for some reason. That's where I cast my vote!

Put it this way, PacRim is basically a mash of classic mecha anime and tokusatsu but with actual budget.

By the way, there's also a prequel comic if you guys don't already know.

Striker Eureka's design was the most badass to me. I just wish we saw more of the only Mark 5 Jager in existence in battle.

A robot with missile launchers and arm blades and is Australian deserves more battle time.

Alright, having actually seen the movie now, I realize my previous comment was likely interpreted as "I like Crimson Typhoon". This is not the case. I was just talking nonsensically before.

I'd say my favourite Jaeger was Cherno Alpha. I just really liked the robustness of it, especially as a Mark 1 bot. Plus, it had the cockpit in the center, which is often the way I feel mechs should be designed. As opposed to the less armored and protruding head.

I also really liked the pre-modded Gipsy Danger.

I just now realized something about the Crimson Typhoon. Its torso can rotate 360 degrees, and since it has those jets on its back, it could theoretically spin around like a top with those 3 buzzsaws going nuts.

I'm so disappointed that didn't happen now.

Yeah, the poor guy (crimson typhoon) was shoot down way too fast without able to show the advantage of having three arms.....

Try the game in Ipad console, crimson can actually do that minus the jet. Just spinning around like a badass red disk

Crimson Typhoon by far, but I really liked Cherno Alpha as well.
