Dub or Sub

Which do you prefer, the original Japanese version of the anime or the English adaptation?

For me I was first exposed to Teknoman (the Saban version) and started to look into seeing more of it when the show was cancelled half way through its broadcast. I got into the original version after seeing the full series. Then I began to watch the "international english dub" from start to finish.

Even if the English adaptation was edited, it still has its appeal for me, particularly concerning the voice acting (which was great in comparison to other dubs I've seen). But I do really love the original version.

I saw it fansub first, via VHS, and I really prefer the subbed version. I have my quips with Saban's work on most of their projects that I just won't get into!

I understand, I'm not a fan of Saban's previous projects either.

I also had the series on VHS at first, but there were no subtitles... so I obtained it again fansubbed on VCD. When I'm able to I'd like to get the DVD sets.

There were sub/dubs of it at otakon last year... or was it two years ago? Either way, you should go ^_^

Sub, without a doubt. I was first exposed the English dub though during a TV run in the wee hours of the morning (something like 5:30am timeslot) and while I can stomach the dub since it's tolerable really the replacement values for characterisation were ridiculous.

I prefer the sub over the dub Franklin because they do a better job with emotion not to discredit the dub actor it's the way they did it that killed the series all together

I like both of them, and polish version.

Polish - because it got the best dubbing.
American - music (in this version is miracleous tracks, better than japanese's)
Japanese - better dubbing than american, and many scenes, wchich we cannot see in american vesion.

For (Japanese) anime, ALWAYS go for sub. Please. For your own good. ;)
