| So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old? I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |
| I don't know how did you take on my comment but my point was not to say anything about the show itself but rather to Ressamp who was saying that this show is dumb in which I didn't find what was so dumb about the show. On the other hand, I never categorized the word "simple" as something like "bad" or below average. And being simple can be special on its own. On one more hand, IMO, this show may not be a masterpiece nor the best of its kinds but this show really has its moments and fun to watch. |

The reason why I didn't think that you reply is a reply is because the "dumb" he was talking about is about how much is squeezed into one episode (while shows like Amagami SS has one arc with 4 episodes) while the "dumb" you talked about is more like the series being simple with simple minded characters. But what you said is also true in Amagami SS but that is a show that Ressamp would not put as "dumb" as this show because it did not do what PhotoKano does here - namely, "stuffing an entire route into a single episode". So it seems to me that you are talking about a different "dumb" from what Ressamp was talking about. This is why I said your reply is not really a reply. |

| Well, I think I wasn't being clear enough with the first post. As for Ressamp's comment, I guess he was expecting a little more or better. Honestly I never checked his list because I stopped doing that kind of thing long time ago since I found it ridiculous to use someone's weakness to attack them. Also, no value was lose so don't feel bad about it. |

Most of Amagami SS's arcs are pretty about doing random thing around the school and then having a conclusion and hardly has any deep in them with the exception of Tsukasa's arc. Furthermore, Muroto's arc did not just start in this episode even though her main issue just started now in this episode but her arc has been started since the first episode. The style of this show is hardly the same Amagami SS as people were talking about and instead PhotoKano is more like Yosuga No Sora anime with the style of tree's branch. On the other hand, the quality of a short story/arc doesn't lie on the length it should be but rather the quality of the writing of the writer. You can check "Otona Joshi no Anime Time" for your example, its arc only started and ended with just one episode of 25mins long and still can make you go "WOW" once you finished it. I am pretty sure you don't even need those examples. But my point was that this one episode is not as dumb as he meant it to be. |

| @Siva I can see why you think Amagami SS's arcs in the anime is not any better than the one episode arc here. A short arc of course can be good if it cuts out the frills and makes the main story more focused and compact. On the other hand, I just think that the "dumb" he used in his post is not a comment about the quality of the story but about the decision to compress so much. Surely compression can bring advantages, but the feeling I got with his comment is that he may be enjoying the story so much that he would dearly want to see more of it, which means less compression, and that he may even feel that it is a reasonable price to pay if it means the story is less focused and there are more random things happening around the school. Of course I am no him, so I could have misinterpreted but that is the feeling I had when I read his post. |

| First half was boring, second half was okay. Also Muroto-Senpai is probably my favorite girl in this series. Favorite arc so far. |

We also find out the truth about Muroto's illicit entry. It was for a good cause! Muroto can be cute! No beach for Muroto, but at least she's in her swimsuit! So, it really is about different routes. And up next is Nonoka! |

| Great episode and Muroto-senpai looked very beautiful in her regular clothes. Despite having a flat chest she still holds her own against the other girls who have bigger chests. Also I believe Muroto-senpai is the first girl in this anime to wear casual pants when Maeda has been on a date with a girl. Sorry Muroto-senpai but Maeda's deep feelings are with his childhood friend, so no kiss for you. The date itself was pretty good, aquarium, dolphin show, not bad. I think her route was put into 1 episode because her graduation was around the corner and there was probably not enough time to put into 2-3 more episodes. I guess we'll probably see more of the girls arcs split into 1 episode. |

| I'd say that she is defenitally my favorite girl of Photo Kano, and this was a very good episode, but her route wasn't as good as the last 2 routes :/ Still a very good episode though! :) |
