I think its just fear of the unknown coupled with his large stature and scary demeanor. at least with Hugh, he was unlikely to torture, beat or kill her without a good reason and would most likely leave her alone for the most part. Dumas is likely to try to prove his manliness by dominating her in every way he can think of. |

| lowest rating i given so far. animation and pace are still great. The problem is Dumas' character. While i understand he wanting to change his life for the better in early episode it is imply it was his own fault. He kept getting in his own way because of honor all this other stuff. so this change is out of character, he is even laughing and barking out orders and being evil.😒 Hugh is great and it remind me why he is my top villain in anime. Rebbeca look like to be upset because she taught she was going to marry the usurper king not his henchmen like game of thrones sansa marrying the king's midget brother instead of the king. |
