| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Lol, Aki Muroto is funny to watch in this episode. Other than that, I see the series is still following the photography theme. Oh look at all those basketballs and even Yuuko gets some photos. It's also funny how Kazuya gets by with those magazines he's reading at school. I'm still unsure the route this series will take place it's still keeping its photo theme I guess. |

| So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old? I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |

| I have not seen a subbed version posted anywhere yet. By my records, they are at least 20 hours later than last week. But the raw version has been up for some time. Compared to anything in the past few days, "Photo Kano 4" is the most prominent example of something that is waiting too long to be subbed. Even so, it is extremely enjoyable to watch the raw version and to try to understand what they are saying. He should have found a better way of keeping those swimsuit issues hidden. |

| Interesting to see Evangelion being mentioned above. Yesterday and today I watched the entire 1995 series of Neon Genesis Evangelion. I felt in the mood for watching something really old. I had never seen it before. It is so fascinating to see all of the old styles. In particular, NGE still has the girls wearing middle school uniforms going right down to their knees. I am poorly-informed on this, but I think that Photo Kano is the latest in a long line of comedy anime set in Middle School and High School. I say "comedy", but I also have in mind slice-of-life, harem, ecchi and so on. Neon Genesis Evangelion has a very strong element of school comedy which helped me to like it. Up to now, Neon Genesis Evangelion is the earliest example that I know about of this sub-genre. After that, I love Kare Kano (1998), To Heart (1999), Full Metal Panic (2002) and Azumanga Daioh (2002). There were quite a number of great school comedy anime after that, continuing up until now. While Yokoyama's talents occasionally sip through (like in the scene where Mai picks up his porn mags and it's shown as her monstrous shadow against a red background) it's still a shame to see an apprentice of Yuasa Masaaki do a show like this. Hopefully it'll start evolving into something greater. |

| I found this episode a little lackluster after really loving the swimsuit scenario and shots last episode. It had a few visuals that really pleased me though. Still pretty sad to see MadHouse doing a show with so little substance. |

| Well, main character is pervert, no doubt after this episode. But viewers are meant to think this is normal and that's where this anime fails to catch some glimpse of reality. And I really don't like those scenes where he obviously violates their privacy and taking ecchi pictures of them, when girls do nothing even they clearly know about it. Cause I doubt all of those girls aren't shy. It's almost as if they are offering themselves to him. Talking of some porn perhaps. But those should be high-school girl which is weird. |

Oh man, Mai's troll face after she read the titles of his magazines was priceless. The act after that didn't follow, of course. Looks like Kazuya is going to get jealous of a guy getting close to Haruka. Let me guess: he thinks that guy confessed to her but he actually didn't? |

| Totally unrealistic (i relize a lot of anime is) but it was funny. There is no way all those girls would let him take pictures of them. Another thing, he's still blackmailing the president I thought he wasn't a jerk. The part where he stopped her from yelling at Kanon and friend was funny but then he made her do his homework too. Next episode he might get blackmailed as well but I'm sure in the end it won't be bad for him. Anybody else think the part at the beginning where the drop of water went in his mouth was creepy in a hilarious way. |

| MC confuses me to the max. Doesn't want to be labeled a perv but still takes photos of girls that are "questionable." Case in point, girl with basketballs next to bewbs... FULL ZOOOOOOOOOOOOOM. He has also gone into full jerk zone by continuing to black mail the student council president. Really dude, making her do your homework? Talk about a scumbag. I will say I respect the man for protecting Haruka but come on, he needs to be nicer to the president. |
