And more about language issues: I wonder if names like Erisyuka, Karoku and Kafka are related to Elizka (a diminutive form of Elisabeth), kruk and kawka. There is something that makes me feel uncomfortable whenever the Circus council (?) gets a meeting, I'm somewhat afraid this "company" thread might exacerbate the show. |

Yeah, and we probably won't see Gareki in his school uniform too. The anime probably will stop at the midle of the volume 6, So, I think that the ending will be the result of the dvd's sales. If we get the dvd's to sell well, we will probably get a "open" ending, that means a probably future second season. But if the dvd's wont sell good enough, we will get a filler ending, with no openings for a second season. Well, at least some animes go that way, or others have a second season planned from the start, no matter the the dvd's sales(like Hakkenden). |

| Mystery grows deeper as the story progresses and it seems like Nai is actually an animal with unique special abilities which further widens the mystery. Looking forward to how it turns out in the next episode!!! 5/5 |

| Looks like the (creatures in the) forest attack(s) "hostile" people but leaves others alone. The story so far is really random, hopefully things'll clear up soon. |

| Is the show called Karneval because of Circus? No matter how cool you are, Gareki, you shouldn't make Nai cry! Because of that, you got taken away by those "Off-limits!" servants. So, Nai is actually an animal called a Niji, which can be described as a winged bi-horned fluffy bunny. Lol at Gareki's reactions toward Nai as a Niji. Noo, Gareki is captured! |

| I really love how this anime series progress with each episode ~ great developement ! not too fast not too slow ! and all characters are on their place without some pathetic drama like in most new anime series ! also it's going ok with following manga, and I don[t agree with some of you commenting that it's pace too fast since it would be borring if they followed manga at actuall details, anime is more clear which it should be and I love it. I really enjoyed this episode. and poor Nai *_* |

asdklfjsdklfjkl I love Yogi's seiyuu oh my god. His voice acting is A+++. Karneval is probably my guilty-pleasure anime. Nai is always getting people in danger but I still love him. Parts of the plot/characters need more clarification but to be honest I don't even care. I'm just watching this for fun. I don't even know why, but I am really, really enjoying this. |

| An okay episode. So Nai was actually an animal all along, that explains his behaviour up to now. Gareki and Nai seem to be bonding quite well, a nice bromance is forming. The varuga at the end seemed to be after Gareki, I wonder why. Highlight: Nai's dream sequence Ep Score: 3/5 |

somehow i can't stop thinking that there will be a lot of yaoi in this. i know this is shoujo (= a lot of "hot"/cute male characters) but nai's sparkling and gareki's blushing have left me with the impression of a yaoi anime xD

| @ZeroAkito This is a Josei. Though technically, Shoujo invented BL and GL. Before there were dedicated magazines for BL and GL series, a lot of BL and GL stories were published in Shoujo magazines. |
