| Hogwarts was filled with excited new students the next day. The ghosts and portraits all talked loudly above the noise of the kids who were finding their way to classes. |

| Kathryn was shoved by a couple of older Slytherin kids which caused her to furrow her brow in annoyance. She walked towards her class, sighing as she walked inside. Same kids in her class as last year, just a few different ones. Unfortunately, the annoying ones remained. |

| Kathryn tapped her fingers on the table she sat at, this becoming her habit now. As the Potions teacher began to speak, she paid close attention. After the class was over, Kathryn gathered her books and quil. She heard footsteps approach her, she turned to see who it was. |

| James gave her a lopsided grin and put his arm around her, steering her out of the classroom as they made their way to their next class, "You see, my brother is at Hogwarts now and little Scorpius and Rose. I need you to help me set up a little...'welcome' party for them. If you know what I'm implying." |

| James smiled, "I knew you were understanding my little Ravenclaw! Okay, here's the schedule. We start off with little Scorpius. Do you think you can put this in his bag?" James produce a strange small cube and dropped it into Kathryn's hand. |

| Kathryn nodded in response, "No problem. Also, one other thing." She glared up at him " Never call me Kathy again." She walked off with the cube hidden in her sleeve to her next class. |

| Castiel made his way to the dining hall for lunch. He spotted the Potters and a Weasley standing near the door. It was sadly the only entrance, so when Castiel tried to worm his way past, James stopped him. "Hey Casty," James smiled, using his arm to block Castiel from entering. Castiel smiled, "What is it?" "Do me on huge favor. Take this," James pushed a strange looking key into Castiel's hands, "and go to Kathryn, you know right? The Ravenclaw? Yeah, take that key to her and tell her James told you to help with the plan." "Me?" Castiel stared at him. After a lopsided smirk and a slight nod from the oldest Potter Castiel left with the key in his palms. |

| Kathryn sighed as her class finished, she still needed the key. She was waiting for James or someone else to deliver the key to her. She needed it quickly, Scorpius would leave soon. |

| Castiel had missed his chance to talk to Kathryn at lunch. He rushed to her class just as it ended, receiving a strange glance from his mom, the Charms teacher. He stopped Kathryn and whispered what James told him to say. "James said to give me the box," Castiel said, recalling only a few words and Scorpius's name. |

| Kathryn raised an eyebrow "Are you sure?" She asked as she recalled James telling her to slip the box into Scorpius' bag. She sighed and handed him the box "Make sure you act quickly, or else you'll humiliate yourself." She gathered her bags and stood up, walking out and to her next class. |

| Castiel smirked and mumbled, tossing the box in the air, "I'm the master of pranks." He put the box, still unlocked, into his bag and went to his next class where Scorpius was. He slid in the seat next to him. |

| Safely secured in his seat, thanking Scorpius quietly for his genius idea of sitting in the back, Castiel unlocked the cub and opened Scorpius's back quietly and slipped the cube in. He closed the bag and pretend to drop his pencil as an excuse for looking Scorpius's way. |

| Scorpius returned to his nonchalant position after he answered the question. A few seconds later, he wrinkled his nose up in disgust. "What's that stench..?" She muttered as he glanced around. |

| Castiel shook Albus's hand and a thought occured to him. Didn't this boy realize the difference in their life? He was in Gryffindor and he was the son of Harry Potter, a famous Auror. Pushing the thought aside, Castiel was just glad for another friend. How many did he have now? Three, if you counted that weird Ravenclaw first-year from the woods the other day. Did he count? He was probably more of an acquaintance. By the time Castiel had snapped out of his thoughts, Albus had left, though he probably had said something before doing so. Castiel quickly made his way to his next class. Potions. |

| Kathryn set her homework down at a desk she had set up for herself in the Ravenclaw common room. She meant it for the use of all Ravenclaws but mainly for herself. She started to do her home work and soon finished. Very easy for her. She stood up and placed her homework back into her bag, carrying that up the spiraling stairs to her room and placed it on her bed. She ran back down the stairs and out of the common room. She had some spare time now, but what to do with it? |

| Kathryn headed for the library after having a pleasant conversation with our on the paintings. She walked to the 'muggle studies' section and browsed through the assorted titles. She finally pulled out a thick book and sat down next to a window. Sunlight filtered in and lit her book as she read quietly. |
