For all of those who want to start collecting anime and manga but are on an extremely tight budget, go to this website http://www.rightstuf.com/rssite/main/

This website has a HUGE selection of anime, manga, merchandise, etc. at very cheap prices. This site sells ONLY licensed items (Funimation, NIS America, Sentai Filmworks, etc.) So it is the real deal NO bootlegs!

This is one of the many great ways to support the anime industry. So check it out!

Yep, Right Stuf is great! I buy from there too!

They've got REALLY good discounts in the bargain sections too. I've gotten a few soundtrack CDs (two from Utena, one from Evangelion) from the bargain section for really good prices.

Another good way to find the best price for any series' DVDs, Blu-rays, manga, artbooks, etc, is to check anime news network.
http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/

Toward the bottom of an anime series' page (right above the staff credits) there's a big list of all the different dvds/blu-rays/box sets that were released. Same thing with the manga. You can click on the link to any volume you want and it will list different prices from official sellers.

For example, here's the Fullmetal Alchemist manga's page: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/manga.php?id=2565
And here's the list of prices for the first artbook: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/releases.php?id=4997

Rakuten and Rightstuf have the best prices, but they are out of stock, so for that artbook the only option right now is Barnes and Noble.

You can use that process for just about any series.
