Ah, all in all, interesting manga. I wish it could have developed a little more throughly, but I think overall it was good.

I thought the ending was a little too sudden but overall, it was a nice piece to the Madoka franchise

kinda seemed rushed towards the end but overall good addition I hope it gets animated

Meh, the ending felt hollow but expected. The series itself just felt too short to be honest.

And so Kazumi Magica comes to an end. All in all, i'm ok with the ending, even if it wasn't the most satisfying thing in the world. I was really hoping there would be some connection between this series and original somehow, but it looks like that isn't the case. I was hoping the giant witch would be Walpurgisnacht. Wasn't particularly satisfied with the one-hit-kill combination attack there, but I guess it's shows how powerful those 3 are now.

At least they didn't make it a super happy ending, with Kanna being killed off there. It was sad that it wasn't until the end that she realized (through Kazumi) what the original Kanna was intending for her. It was obvious that all she wanted was for the new Kanna to be happy. Too bad it all went wrong.

I wonder if that teacher at the end is the one that is dating Madoka's teacher? I don't know if that was what we were supposed to get from that or what. She's Kazumi Subaru now. And the subtitle, "The Innocent Malice" finally makes it's full meaning known. I wish there would have been something for conclusive about the ending, but it was a great last few pages, showing all the major characters left alive.

I must say, i'm going to miss this series and these characters. 5 volumes wasn't long enough with characters. I didn't really feel as strongly as others that the series could have been extended more, I just didn't want their story to be over with. I guess they will continue to fight witches together and not give up hope that there is a way to beat the system. If they ever decide to fully milk the Madoka franchise, i'd love to see this as anime, although that will probably never happen.

Honestly it was better than I expected. Fast read, the girls' dilemmas were engaging and it was still pretty dark. Nowhere close the original series of course, but for a spin-off series expanding the universe - I enjoyed it. I guess I just wish the ending maybe made a little bigger impact on me, or maybe that main character got more complex development. Still, a solid 7/10
