| As someone who has done traditional black and white photography I find this kind of interesting to read. It's really weird that he just goes in a pitch black place to set up his film. I always used a black, cloth bag. You'd put the film, the container, scissors and the film opener into the bag. Then you put you zip it up, put your hands in, and you have to feel around for the materials in order to set it up. It's a lot easier than going into a dark room and winging it, since the bag is an enclosed space and it's easier to feel around. I wonder how much research the mangaka actually did on the subject. |
