Well, Shiraitodai is not playing seriously... -shifty eyes- Go Awai! :D Mairu kicks ass - I hope Shindouji will advance with Shiraitodai. :P Also, Arata's ability: from /a/ bowling pins have a peculiar way number of each of them  notice how 1-2-4-7 and 1-3-6-10(or 9) are easy to target in bowling? Arata can easily target to get them in mahjong as well. In the case where she have a multiple wait that is closed based on bowling arrangement like in the her first win this chapter (multiple wait for 1 and 4), her chance of getting one of them increased significantly tl;dr arata's power is getting ryanmen waits |

| So much for Seiko's fishing. The spread with Mairu catching her fishing bait is awesome. It's kind of strange for Ritz to continue the Saki plotline in Achiga. I guess this allows her to cover ground faster so that she can do the Nodoka/Achiga overview in chapter 105. This chapter we finally see Arata get a proper character development though flashbacks. Even Bansei players are cheering during her match. One of Arata's abilities is called the Greek Church. This type of bowling split is difficult to get a spare on. One example is this video, minus the 10th pin. And of course the dots on the mahjong tile are called "pin", which match bowling pins and make a nice pun. Mairu's 7-han reservation is quite scary. Imagine what Himeko can do if Mairu succeeds with that hand.  Ichigo Sasano and Sae Usuzawa cameo. I guess Karouto and Miyamori got called up right before Achiga. |

I feel bad for her, though... "Ever since I became a regular in this position, I've never once fallen down to second place!! And I've never lost this many points before!!" sigh just sigh... Well, it doesn't matter, Kowai Awai already know she'll face baiman on taishou round. To add on Arata's ability, it seems like she prefers pin wait, but she can threw some surprise, just like when she's single wait-ing on 9 man (to target Seiko) - so she isn't just the type to prefer pinzu wait, kinda like a psychological strategy Hisa develops against players who think she's just using hell wait (in Nagano individuals) |

| I prefer reading english one with cleaner pages, it's really out and Achiga sure got a lot of pages to read. I wonder what Koromo see in Achiga Captain Shizuno, she even told to Saki that Achiga's Captain could spell disaster. I'm really curious what she meant about that. We have never seen any matches this close, of course this is something important to Arata, since this is were Haru went when she was on National with her mahjong friends. The points really changed much from the start, but I do hear that captain of Shiraitodai is also some kind of monster. What I wonder how Shizuno playstyle, we never have take close on that. Maybe she have ability to prevent monster to attack her. I guess we will see that in the next chapter, Arata will be over in the next one. |

| I guess we should've guessed that Shizuno isn't as weak as we've seen her huh. I'm also interested what Koromo means by disaster BUT remember that Teru actually has another hack skillz so Saki probably isn't using her FULL powers either and no one knows yet. |

| Achiga is weak they said. HAH in the end it was only because the manga has neglected to properly show what Achiga girls could do properly do in a match outside of Kuro and Yuu (though Kuro is still useless). I wonder how Shizuno's style will make Saki have difficulties. |

Suji + dropping honor tiles is not really working. Mairu strong! Looks like Awai didn't mind about the score... much. Also, it looks like a part of Awai's power is to make all players' starting hand to become shitty. Shindouji strong!! Awai is looking happy playing with strong players, is so cute! My bet on who will go to finals? Shiraitodai and Shindouji, looking at this chapter. Technically Ryuuka didn't do anything fancy... yet. Current end score (not including the latest 3200 ron) : Awai 110100 Shizuno 107200 Ryuuka 95100 Himeko 87600 Awai: 4 han mangan is rare! :D Wai! The bind is true! |

| My current theory of Himeko's key usage: Apparently, Himeko wins the mangan -East 2nd Round, 1 dealer repeat- (with key) on 4th turn with... Uh, tanyao 2 dora iipekou, total of 4 han? Himeko's winning hand - with key- formula: Winning hand's hans = Total of turns needed to complete it (which means the infamous 14han South 3 Yakuman Key would have to be on... 14th round...?) and the next baiman will be on 8th round? - I guess we shall wait and see... Also Mairu did make reservation on East 2. but she failed... and thus Himeko could only win by 1 han (500 all) Well, Awai seemed to have a lot of fun. |
