When and how many episodes?

Im excited about the third season like everyone else is but I am seeing a bunch of conflicting information regarding the premier date and how many episodes there will be.

I was under the impression that the series would begin in Japan on Saturday the 4th of October (this Saturday). If im wrong someone please correct me if there has been an official date announced that is from a reliable source.

Also I read somewhere that this season will only have 13 episodes, I really hope it has 24/25 like the others.

Cool thanks for the link but its sort of a let down to only have 13 episodes, ah well its still more episodes so it should be great!

If it only has 13 episodes, I hope that they all advance the plot and aren't episodic like the first halves of the previous seaons. And I suppose this may actually be the case.
