| "Copying me now, are we?" She pulls her hair behind her ears and smirks at Nioniel. |

| He looks a bit clueless at her question, looking down at himself. "But you asked me to follow you. So I did." He smiles back sheepishly. |

| She looks down at his stance and then her own. "I understand that, but do you really have to do the same pose as me?" She lets out a chuckle. |

| He looks down, embarrassed, hiding his hands behind his back. "I guess not. I didn't know what else to do though." He laughs nervously at how absurd he must look now. |

| She laughs softly to herself at his embarrassed demeanor. "Awe, well don't you look cute when you get embarrassed?" She pinches his cheek jokingly and smiles genuinely at him. |

| He blushes as she does, pouting as a spoiled child would when denied his favorite ice cream. "S'not funny..." He looks away, trying to not think about his embarrassment. |

| As this is her first time seeing Nioniel embarrassed like this, she is determined to milk the situation as much as she can. Adaia then steps to face him after he looked away so she could pinch his other cheek. She uses a voice that one would probably use when speaking to a baby. "Aweeeeee~ Nioniel's all embarrassed~" She snickers. |

| He turns even more red, but this time faces her directly, pinching each of Adaia's cheeks in one of his hands, stretching them outward to make her make goofy faces. "Awww, Adaia's face is made of putty~" He takes on the same tone with her, chuckling at his own antics as it alleviates his own embarrassment. |

| She lightly smacks his hands away from her cheeks, then begins rubbing the red on her cheeks from the pinching. "Owww. My cheeks weren't made for pinching.. unlike yours!" Adaia then lunches her fingers at Nioniel's cheeks, pinching them slightly harder than before, just to make them red again. "Hah!" |

| Nioniel now slaps away hers in the same manner. "I don't think either of our cheeks were made for pinching!" He exclaims as he protects his cheeks. He covers them with both hands as he proceeds to rub the feeling back into them gradually. |

| Adaia looks down at her feet as she lightly kicks at the dirt beneath them. "Sorry if I pinched too hard or offended you." Her demeanor is shameful. |

| Nioniel looked a bit guilty for perhaps speaking out too harshly. "No, no. I just lost the feeling in my face. Let's just both remember that cheeks have feelings too." He grinned warmly at her, still rubbing one cheek, as he used his other hand to pat her head comfortingly. "Don't worry about it." |

| "Okay then." Adaia smiles back, but still with some shame in her eyes. She then takes a seat on the top part of the table, letting her feet dangle over the edge, swinging them back and forth. |

| Nio smiles reassuringly at her, messing her hair a little with the hand he had placed on her head before he also takes a seat up on the table. He lets out a light laugh for apparently no reason, looking down at the ground. "Heh, tables." |

| She fixes her hair back to the way she likes it then looks at the direction Nioniel laughed at but she couldn't find a reason. So she looks over to him with curiosity written all over her face. "What's funny about tables?" |

| He snickered as she had asked the question, looking over at her with a bright smile. "We always seem to sit on the part we aren't supposed to sit on... It's kind of funny, don't you think?" |

| "Huh, you're right." She chuckles, "Well, it's boring sitting in the same spot the entire time. Especially at picnic table like this--" She pats the table. "My butt and back start to hurt after a while so I might as well change my seating arrangements before that happens." She looks down at the part of the table that's meant for sitting. "Would you rather we sit where we're supposed to?" She looks up at him inquisitively. |

| He smirks awkwardly, making an effort to keep his eyes focused on Adaia's face rather than looking downward. "Yeah, although the top isn't really much more comfortable either. But I'm quite content sitting either way, it still feels good to adjust from the regular sitting spot." He nods at his own words again, feeling content with them. |

| "Hmm.." She lays down on her back on the table with her feet still dangling over the edge. She stares up at the sky, trying to make out pictures from the clouds above them. "So, I heard the headmaster is coming soon. That's your uncle, right?" |

| Nio lied down next to her on the tabletop, gazing at the clouds as he looks for a particularly unique one with a look he finds favorable. "Yeah. He's actually on campus now. So, I should go say hi to him at some point. He's an interesting fellow, you wouldn't know we were related." He smirks knowingly at his mental image of his uncle, few would think his uncle was even a civilized being. |

| "I had remembered you mentioned your uncle being headmaster, but I heard he was scary looking so I thought I'd make sure that was who you were talking about." She chuckles at the thought of Nioniel at a family reunion, hugging a big, scary monster and calling him uncle. |

| He laughed lightly at her comment. "I guess if you're scared of octopi, maybe. Otherwise he's not terribly frightening." Nio took a deep breath as he watched the sky, a jet was leaving a vapor trail high up in the sky as he stared up at it. |

| "But isn't he like 10 feet tall or something with tentacles on his face like Davy Jones?" She turns her head to look at Nioniel, trying to impersonate tentacles on her face by putting her fingers pointing down in front of her mouth. |

| Nioniel laughed heartily at her impression. "Davy Jones? Yeah I suppose he does look like that. To me he just looks like a giant man with an octopus head. Or maybe my simplification of his appearance makes him seem less intimidating to me." He smiled as he ingrained her Davy Jones impression into his memory, it was quite amusing. |

| "That could be it." Adaia taps her chin with her index finger while looking up at the clouds again. Then, her curiosity got the best of her. "Okay, I'll just ask it right now. How is a half elf/half angel related to a huge octopus-faced man?" She looks over to Nio, impatient for an answer. |

| He smirked, here was the obvious question. "It's easy. He married my mom's sister, who is an elf. So he's my uncle." He laughs at the a thought that occurred to him. "I suppose everyone thinks I'm part tentacle-horror-from-the-nether just because he's my uncle, huh?" Nio suppresses some laughter at this prospect after uttering it. |

| One could see the obvious sudden realization on Adaia's face. "Aaahh, I see now. Sorry, usually when people mention family, I assume it's by blood." She smiles innocently. Then a thought comes across her mind and she starts cracking up. |

| He nods knowingly. "You'd be surprised how much I get that." His expression turns to one of confusion as she laughs, smiling at her antics. "What'd you think of now, you goofball?" |

| She keeps laughing, having trouble controlling it. "I--" More laughter. "I pictured you 10 feet tall and tentacles on your face going in every direction." She laughs even more at her own mental image, holding her sides. |

| He smirks at her laughing, shaking his head as he looks back up at the sky. "You're so silly... I'd probably be exactly the same if I was a tentacle monster. Except we would've fallen to our deaths from me tickling you. Since tentacle monsters don't fly." |

| "Well, we probably wouldn't have even started flying since you were the one that started it." She chuckles. "And if you hadn't tickled my stupid feet, I would have been able to land us safe and sound." She says proudly. |

| "Oh I see, so it's all my fault huh. How mature." Nio smirks, sticking his tongue out at her. "Just blaming me for everything! How typical." He closed his eyes, shaking his head mockingly. |

| She pushes him, teasingly with a soft laugh. "You know it's true, baka!" She smiles. |

| He mockingly pouts at her, jabbing a finger playfully at her stomach. "You're the baka, baka!" |

| Her face turns into a pout as she lightly flicks Nio on the forehead. "..... Baka!" |

| He takes on a huffy expression at her outburst, tousling Adaia's hair rigorously. "Don't tell me we're gonna' start this again, baka!!" |

| Adaia eyes widen as her hair is completely out of places. She desperately struggles to fix the mess but there are too many tangles. "Baka! Look what you did!" She points at the big size and tangles of her newly styled hair. |

| He looks dismissively at her, a mocking condescending tone evident in his voice. "Hmph, you shouldn't have flicked my face again. A tangled mess of hair for a flick is how I gauge my retribution..!" "Besides..." He begins, looking away. "... your hair looks good messy." |

| She looks up at her hair, trying to see how it could look good this way, but it's obvious in her expression that she doesn't see it. "Fine.. I'll take the high road on this one then." She crosses her arms, seemingly unwilling to risk getting her hair messed up any more. "Or maybe..." Adaia then uses both her hands to mess up Nioniel's hair as much or even mroe than he messed up hers. |

| Nio smirked as his hair was mussed, obviously not minding. "Or maybe we should both just go back to our rooms and shower off to get the knots out of our hair. Hm?" He crosses his arms, gauging her reaction to his suggestion. |

| She nods, "Yeah, that's probably best." Adaia smiles and waves, "See ya later, Nio-chan" She begins walking toward her dorm room in a hurry, so as to not let anyone else see her hair in such a horrid state. |

| He waves to her as he also departs for his room in a less hurried pace. "See you, Ada-chan." |
