| Woah, that was imo an amazing start.I don't read manga btw. Main characters seem really nice and original, especially Aladdin xD hes hilarious with his love for boobies :D.I had some nice laughs in this episode because of him and dat Alibaba face after he realized how Elizabeth looks trolololo.Can't wait to get more info about girl. she seems so cute *w* Animation and art are indeed great.Oh, and that OST!. OP was decent too. 5/5 first impression 8/10.Great start, can't want to see more. |

| This is a really awesome start, I love the feel of this anime so far. The art and animation are really good and I like the music as well. It looks like they will be starting on the dungeon next week, can't wait to see it. :D |

| That was an amazing first episode. I'm loving Magi already. I actually like Aladdin's voice. It suits his character and he is a small guy after all, a deep voice would be weird. xD Aladdin's relationship with Alibaba was great. At first Aladdin was like an annoying pest to Alibaba but they ended becoming friends, typical shounen I know but it's such a good feeling. :D Aladdin groping that guy's boobs was hilarious. I love how he's a small guy but he still loves OPPAI and eats a lot. :D That action was great, Ugo is one strong beast rofl. Pretty obvious that the slave girl Morgiana is gonna join them as well. Bah I seriously can't wait for the next episodes to come. Hoping for 20+ episodes at least. |

| Well, that was really rushed. I'm a bit disappointed actually. I'll try a few more episodes, but I think I'll drop this and just keep reading the manga eventually. |

| Good start. Everything looked pretty nice with smooth animation. Had some trouble to adept to Ishihara Kaori's voice at first, because I felt reminded of some of her other roles all the time, but it turned out to be pretty funny after a while. |

| I am glad a lot of people seems to have enjoyed it. for the ones who read the manga and was disappointed by all the change (like me), one of the staff said in one of the interviews that they would rush and change the beginning but then do a faithful adaption from that point on. So.. I wouldn't lose hope yet. |

Apparently the mangaka felt that the start to her manga was a little weak (I disagree personally). so I am guessing they want to make the start have a little more impact. |

Aladdin became even more unappealing with this episode. The music was great and of course A-1 pictures done an amazing job. I am disappointed in what the anime done, I wouldn't go as far as to say it ruined the story, but it definitely isn't living up to the original. They always do shit like this for 24+ adaptions did the same thing to sword art online. They always want to suck the viewer in by the first episode making as good as possible. Because ive seen alot of animes and i do saw the start of this show blew me away with how amazing it is compare to how your feeling about it. I think it did it's job well and i will be watching it from start to finish. |

| What's wrong with u people...I'm 100% sure if they started like the manga...a lot of people would have dropped it saying it's too generic...etc And now that they chose to start with a little faster pace, right into the story people are still complaining...really, there's no pleasing these guys -_- It was already confirmed before the anime started they will focus on Balbadd and that's the best thing they could do...it was the best part of the manga til now...if they do it properly it's gonna be a big hit. |

| The Leila and Salsa story is quite important for the introduction of Aladdin. I'm sad they skipped it. However, given how painfully obvious it was for the entire episode that they're rushing the Amon dungeon and the appearance of Morgiana, I'm actually quite hopeful that the caravan's introduction and story was merely delayed until the time when Mor is travelling with them to Balbadd. |
