Is it me or does anyone else cannot stand the cutesy relationship between Eiga and Mia

So I'm watching Bamboo Blade and I'm pretty psyched about it generally I don't venture into sport animes because sometimes it gets a little repeatitive with the main character winning for a bit then losing only to get stronger and win, but I made an exception and I'm farly please. BUT for some reason I just CAN'T stand the couple, I would much prefer Kawazoe Tamaki and Nakata Yuuji but that would probably ruin it.

I suppose I am just asking if there is anyone out there that has the same views or as a different opinion on this.

I held back commenting up until episode 4 but I'm going to have to now.

"Dan-Kun" pisses me off to an extreme extent. I was actually happy when that delinquent was bullying him in episode 1 lol. I really like Miya-miya, she reminds me a lot of Ami-chan from Toradora but this freaking Dan-kun is trying to ruin it for me. I hope she has an ulterior motive with being with him and it gets explained soon or else I'm going to break something, lol.

Though other than that, I'm loving the show so far. Especially the Seiyuu cast.

-They have my all-time favourite Konishi Katsuyuki as the sensei!,
- Sunohara, Tomoyo and Kyou's Seiyuus(Clannad) as Yuuji, Miya Miya <3 and Tama-chan ^^.
- Riruka(Bleach)/Winry's(FMAB) Seiyuu as Kirino
- Even Dan-kun as Ishida Akira lol.

I also love girls, sports and swords very passionately in general, so this is a great experience for me. ^^

Only drawback is freaking Dan-Kun!
