| According to the official website, the seiyuu for Kurimu and Mafuyu will change because they are working on other projects. However, apparently this change will not last the entire season. | According to Yaraon, here are the seiyuu changes: Shiina Mafuyu: Nomizu Iori (prev. Horinaka Yuki) Akaba Chizuru: Mina (prev. Saitou Yuka) Source: http://yaraon.blog109.fc2.com/blog-entry-10772.html It doesn't mention if the change will be temporal or permanent but I really doubt they'll change them mid-season. Kinda expected Mafuyu's to change since Horinaka-san hasn't been active with her seiyuu career except for her Elise role in Tales of Xillia but Chizuru's change surprised me. If they can later change them to their original voices that would be pretty cool, even if it's only on the DVD/BD's release like Honey and Clover 2 did with the last episode. Now for the new seiyuus, I guess Iori-san is a good choice for Mafuyu since her voice range goes from really low to hype crazy, which is perfect for Mafuyu. Mina-san... I haven't heard her in a S role like Chizuru so can't really comment on that. |

My bet is its permanent as I think this is the last season. The light novel has ended at the 10th volume. Honey and clover's change was a special case because I heard the original was hospitalized. Yeah, it was just wishful thinking. I knew Hiroshi Kamiya was hospitalized while the last episode was being recorded so they let him perform his lines for the later DVD release of H&C2. In other news, the Niconico page got updated with the official cast after the special live broadcast that just finished. Aside from the girls they confirmed that Kondo Takashi will return as Ken this season, which is awesome. Some details about the live broadcast: - Live was hosted by the seiyuus of the four girls. - Lots of light novel promotion. - They showed the first PV for the new anime. - The new opening theme is named "Precious" and it's performed by the 4 girls just like Treasure from the first season. - No voices on the PV so can't comment on the new Mafuyu or Chizuru voices. - A lot more colorful than the DEEN anime. - Confirmed more characters than the first season. (Probably Meguru, Mamoru, Ringo or Asuka) - They announced that it'll have some sort of episode 0, a prologue maybe? - Formally announced the name contest for the anime. (Comments were going all out for Sei☆ Zon) - They advertised the Ebiten anime lol. - More info about the season 1 BD-box, they showed a new official jacket drawn by Inugami-sensei. | I'm really sad as well that they had to change Chizuru's and Mafuyu's seiyuus. I felt that they were a perfect fit for the characters they portrayed so it might take some getting used to their new voices in the 2nd season. |

Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |
| Ugh I don't know if I can watch this now, chizuru was by far my fav girl (ofc ken was hilarious as shit but you need support cast) and I would watch the OP everytime just to see her stick her tongue at the screen :3 So there's a possibility they'll switch back mid season? Blehhhh :/ |
