| A very good first chapter of the red king. One needs not much to convince them of the hardcore gangsterism of this series and its supernatural powers bestowed by one person. I assume the other team is like a Heaven’s version from the PV that will counter the Red King of this chapter. It’s obvious new why Skateboard guy aka Yata hates Shouhei’s guts. Simply put he has better luck than him. However what gets impressive is the spoiler However despite the rich content of Yata’s rather RAGE going around and him being calmed down by the other person. Anna in the following,  Got my attention. Seem the nice Gothic luscious loli can see people in another place through her black ball. Which really is a foreseeing technique that is interesting coming from her and a black ball of all means. Not new since in fortune telling it was used already around but it the size of it and the person using it. The TV series looks as good as Durarara if not better due to a paranormal level of fighting elements using those supernatural powers. That will be a good sole reason to watch the series as it starts. |
| This was very nice for a first chapter. While I would like to know more about the main characters from the anime project, I guess I understand why they wouldn't want tor reveal that yet .. and this story might end up giving a nice insight/backstory to the main one eventually. For first chapter getting to see 6 characters from the anime cast is pretty good. Mikoto and Anna seem quite impressive here too. ...Kusanagi, I love you. Those Durarara!! feels. |

| Confusing chapter but I liked the setup. There's a sense of DRRR! here definitely. Hmm, there's not much action in this chapter but I can sense something big. I just hope the anime will pull it off as well in a good way. Anyways, good chapter and the Red King ftw. |
