At a live event streamed on Niconico Live, Kamiyama Kenji's new anime was announced to be a remake of Cyborg 009 titled "009 RE:CYBORG". It will be premiered in the autumn 2012.

You should watch Skull Man first. It's a prequel to Cyborg 009, and considering this is a remake, it should also work well.

Seems interesting. Best part was the music. But the animation was intensely rigid for this day and age.
