Hana-saku Iroha: Home Sweet Home has been announced.

October 2012 is the speculative date for this to air, but nothing was been confirmed.

Edit: I should note that this is not confirmed as a second season, as I previously thought. So it could simply be an OVA, or something.

Nice! I have something to look forward to. I was thinking that it would be aired in the summer again like with the first season, but I guess waiting for it in October should be worth the wait, hopefully!

that's good. hope they ohana will be koichi's gf in the new season. the last season ended off with them liking each other.

How is this possible? I thought there wouldn't be a sequel. Very Good! The story felt a bit incomplete to me, so I gave it a 9/10

If the sequel is confirmed, then it will be time to up my ranking.

Nahh, I'm honestly perfectly okay with there not being much romance in this (involving Ohana at least). Between the inn troubles and Ohana messing up other people's romances, there is enough entertainment!

But Kou's is pretty much the only character that I'm enjoying with Kaji Yuki, I don't mind if it's not even romance with Ohana, I just need to see more Kou in there.

Thats nice to see. I quite enjoyed the chilled nature of the first season. Just hope there is still material for a good plot and it doesnt feel like endless filler.

I wants to see more Ohana, she is really cute =D

I think Kou is quite a pathetic character. I never liked the romance between Kou and Ohana anyway, the only significant role it played was Ohana's growth in the story. If Kou gets screentime, there needs be be some improvement on such a crappy male lead.

On topic : I'm not even sure if a second season would be appropriate. With the ending of Hanasaku Iroha, it would be easily done but the closure was nice, and to be honest sequels are rarely successful or as refreshing and pleasurable as their predecessors.
