| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I expected some massive adventure into Tokyo's underground, but instead a 40 minute movie about a small plot with kids and some senile. :P 6/10. |

| It was a nice, sweet movie and Momo-chan was quite funny.....a mature 4th grader...lol. I gave the movie 7.5/10 because of its lighthearted music that resounded with epicness through the entire adventure, the characters were funny and the animation was excellent it reminded me of FREEDOM and the animation for the dad's figurines were good such as the one for the Mai Hime figurine. I highly doubt we will ever see anymore from this particular series. It seemed more like a pet project from Sunrise, showing their potential with this new style of 3D-2D animation. =) |

| Matakichi was a childhood friend to Ryhuei and Sasuke's father that's why he has the exploring notebook. I would have liked to see them have reunion but oh well. Old man Yamashita could be based on real life World War 2 Japanese stragglers who are still fighting for Japan in some Asian jungles long after Japan's World War 2 official surrender, soldiers like Teruo Nakamura, Hiroo Onoda, and Shoichi Yokoi.
