It's like she had to be perfect on her first attempt and those 4 never had any blunders when they started. I'm not saying that should be patting her on her back, but they like stabbed her heart. |

| Doremi in particular might remember when her carelessness caused Hana to come down with a cold; something more serious than a stomachache from overeating, especially considering Hana was much younger at the time. This was a good episode, though. There really should have been several episodes this good by this point in the series, but at least this one is here. I'm glad Momoko finally gets an episode focusing on her (rather than not-very-accurate perceptions of differences between American and Japanese culture), some characterization and some attention to the issue that she and the other four girls can't possibly have the same kind of feelings about Hana. Also, the "Rock, rock...I'm becoming a mama!" scene was the funniest scene in the third series so far. |

| It was obvious she would mess up and that they would get mad at her. Still it was a nice episode, and we need more serious episodes here, really. |

| Welp, Aiko was already my least favorite witch apprentice so far in the series, and she just went free fall in my personal ranking in a matter of a single episode. Sure, she's usually portrayed as the boyish, stereotypical Osakan heroine, but this was uncalled for. Poor Momoko, such a good girl, and she's not even holding any hard feelings after being literally told in the face to get away from their baby. Heck, they all did equally bad back in the previous season taking care of newborn Hana, and now they're pretending to be perfect moms? Ugh, kids. And Aiko also had the nerve to tell Momoko something along the lines of "In America people are being straightforward to each other. But we don't do that in Japan. You should pay more attention to people's feelings." when she scolded Hazuki and Onpu for small blunders in baking their first cake at the beginning of the season. Look who’s talking! /facepalm |
