| Firstly. Hell yeah, TTGL MOVIE! I don't care if it's a milking, if it's as epic as before it'll be awesome end of. But yeah I feel it's either gonna be: a) Retelling of the series. (1 Full movie of everything or 2 movies of pre and post timeskip). New animation completely and crap so it's not a recap but retelling). b) GARLOCK Arc instead of "Starlock." A little clue for b) though is that in the prologue Simon is at war with basically every star but in the epilogue he's at peace with them all. Meanwhile Rossiu and Leeron state that it took about 20 years or something like that to sort the Government Properly. My prediction is that a war breaks out between various galaxies and crap and half of the movie would be Rossiu, Gimmy, Darry, Viral etc. all fighting in space trying to calm things down. Halfway through is when Simon gets called it. It gets all EPIC for a while, then things look bad, then Simon goes incredibly GAR and saves the day. The basis? Well the whole down and then getting backup adds for GARness which is what GAINAX will aim for. And Simon returning late is based on his leaving and then return halfway through makes for more GAR feeling. GAINAX probably set it up in the anime 'cus it WAS originally planned to milk the series. Also that in the epilogue it's stated that they're allies so the possibility is the war brings peace and makes them allies. Now that could be just a normal thing but added with Rossiu/Leeron stating the 20 years thing and it might be a ti~ny clue. What's your opinions? |

| Sorry for double post lawl. Little plus to that. I expect a few dead Gurren-dan members to appear briefly to Simon in the losing moments before he starts to pwn. I just get that feeling too lawl. Kamina and Nia getting most attention. But yeah those are big predictions from small things so I'm probably wa~y off the mark. And if it's a) well it'll be incredibly epic just to see that all in a theatrical version alone. Cinema Experience TTGL FTW. ==Edit - Just noticed the edit so I could have edited before. =/ |

| I like the idea of B. It'd be interesting to see that side story. Though I think it'd be cool if the movie were Kamina based, if it were possible. |

| If Kamina based it'd have to be an alternative story, meaning a C option. This however sounds the least likely to happen. Otherwise it'll be an extended version of the Kamina arc rolled into a movie. It'd be pretty boring compared to how it could be later. It's best if Kamina only get's the appearance I stated earlier. I mean if he were to be materialized for the final battle it'd only bring Simon's GAR down. Although if they managed to have them shouting and fighting together in a pure TTGL vs. some giant battle gone crazy then hell yeah, it'd probably work then. So long as they still focus on Simon. But then that's not Kamina based so back to what I just said in the last two paragraphs. I can so see this movie Gurren Lagann appearing for 5 mins pwning everything, enemy getting massive and they start to lose then Kamina, Nia and the rest of the Gurren-dan apeparing causing mass overload of GAR investing into the reincarnation of Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. | What I've noticed is that was there actually any mention of the movie being a re-make? I don't think it's been officialy announced, right? I think it'd be really interesting if the characters were thrown into a completely alternate storyline. After seeing the first GL Parallel Work, it'd be really awesome to see. But I guess we'll just have to wait and see. I want it to hurry up and get released. ;_____; |

| It would be awesome if the movie had after Kamina died and came back, instead of Simon having a flash back of his brother stealing it would be a good flashback and they would have a whole different ending |
