WTFFFFFFF. I was flipping out this entire episode.

"OH MY GOD THAT GRANDMOTHER IS INSANE."
"HOLY HELL. SHE BROKE A BEAKER. IT'S NOT LIKE SHE FAILED A CLASS."
"Thank GOD someone is on that teacher's side; that woman is flipping nuts, passing out flyers and calling her at 2 in the morning to educate her on phone etiquette."
"WHAT THE HELL THE GIRL IS ACTUALLY AN ATTENTION WHORE?! Screw you, girl."

But if the grandmother was gonna be insistent that her granddaughter stay home anyway until the teacher got fired, wouldn't the teacher just have to put up with the harassment "until the storm passed," like the faculty said? And even then, couldn't the police have something done about it? I guess that's why the reasoning for the teacher pulling the string didn't feel worth it to me at all.

Probably in the minority, but I didn't like this episode that much. I was more frustrated by it than anything. Maybe that's a good thing; shows I'm passionate and love it enough to hate the things that happen in it. Eh.

I'm also annoyed that so far, all of these people are connected to Ai's host in some way. At least in past seasons, we had some variety of people in age, profession, and circumstances. These people are all students or around that age. I mean, yeah, we have seen some various professions and ages being affected, but the fact that they're all somehow linked to this school and this girl bug me. Maybe I'm just being close minded, but this kind of feels like a step backwards to me.

I liked how we could start on a completely new, blank slate each episode where it could be anyone who wanted revenge on someone in previous seasons, but this kind of feels like it's trying to be more consistent or something, which this series already has enough of (Ai's speech of the rules, the transformation sequence/preparing to send someone to hell, the ferry to hell, etc, etc). And my vote is that I actually liked Ai being interrupted this time.

Well, there's my rant. Despite these nitpicks, I still love Jigoku Shoujo; and I still love the stock footage despite what I've said; otherwise I wouldn't be still watching it and enjoying it as much as I do.

*ahem* Okay episode is okay.

Nice story on this episode though it was quite sad to know that the child was causing all this, even though it was right to rather send the grandmother to hell rather than the cause "the child" but yea quite sad for the teacher though to withstand all that hassle just bcs she helped!

Good Job, Teach! Two birds with one stone.

I thought there would be a backlash, when the grandchild disappear and the grandma, would blame it on the teacher, because I thought the camera was a hint. Grandma a useless empty old lady now, she lost her motivation in life.

Knew that girl was a monster inside a middle schooler body.

I knew something was off with that girl. I mean, from the very start, why would someone tell their guardian something that wasn't a big deal? Or is it just me being an introvert?

Was she just bored and thought that, "Hey, she's an adult, maybe I'll play her for a bit?"
And she also got the same eyes like the MC last episode, I hope these kids are not contagious.

Yuzuki is still not making actions. I guess she's still not over for the fact that Ai is inside of her. or she's too dense to actually think that she could do something, especially in this case, she's involved. Or she really doesn't care about others. Oh well, I hope she'll try and do something about it in the latter episodes.

Oh, gotta love the violin at the end.

Best episode of the season so far :) This time I actually can empathize with the teacher, unlike the previous episodes where the reasons for sending one to hell were more or less very wrong.
I wanted to see the sending ritual or whatever you wanna call it in this episode very much though, would've been interesting. It's the climax of each episode after all.. at least to me :)

Nice episode, I didn't see that twist coming, it was a nice surprise.

I can't say that I really get why did that girl lie... what was the point of it, she didn't gain anything from it... it didn't seem to me like she hated her teacher either, so why make so much trouble for her?

somehow i knew i was the student that was the real bad person here but for a teacher to sent her to hell is a bit to much but i still liked this episode it was at least better then the last one.

Yeah, nice example of attention whore.

Okay, this episode was nice. But if I were in that teacher I would have let things flow without doing anything else. It's not like her career was in danger or what. That's her fault for living in such a soap bubble of ideals.
She showed to be a weak person.. indeed that kid was a bitch but at least let her live with her grandmother who has not so much years left and enjoy themselves.. I can't understand why sacrifice yourself for a kid who will likely ending the same way in the future by other hands.

3/5

By the way it really seems to be only taking place in that school.

Still not very good episode. Certainly better than the last one but still not great.

Wow that child was fucking evil. Glad she got sent to hell.

Why was that child doing that to the teacher? Was she just trying to harass her till she reached her breaking point? I don't even know...

I'm really getting tired of that weird-ass transformation scene in every episode.

No punishment scene? Now that's just lazy.

Okay episode.

isnt it a bit selfish of Enma Ai to possess mikage like that and everytime someone calls her, she has to pass for that painful transformation?

This was an ok episode, definetly better than the previous ones. But I start to believe the director is an idiot who can't show the full potential of a script.

Oh, pitiful shadow cloaked in darkness.
Thy actions cause men pain and suffering.
Thy hollow soul drowns in thy sins.
How would you like to see what death is like?

that smirk at the end knowing damn well you just sent a child to hell eternity when you could have dealt with it the "mature" way

whys the girl still just standing by? Unlike where that other guy and her daughter were trying to stop all of this in season 1 and 2.

This whole episode was just boring. Student and her grandma were both mad.

I liked the teacher, until the end part. I mean an upright and understanding adult going so far as to send a 12 year old girl (who lost both parents in an accident, and obviously just needed guidance/help) to hell mainly to hurt the gullible guardian who spoiled her? wow..

Though it's interesting -and even realistic- how the most seemingly perfect people can be so messed up and psychologically devastated.

I don't get why the school sucked up to the grandma so hard. It's not like she was some big benefactor for the school from what I could tell.

Finally a good episode.
I liked this one and I'm not mad about the lack of punishment in this one cause i think that it was for the "surprise" values at the end.
What a bratty kid. Tbh I'm not surprised that there's a possibility that the main character's friends will all die. They do be dumb af.

I think that the point was that she would stay at home and do nothing at all cause she wasn't interested in school..... Or... She could've also be possessed by some kind of spirit like the girl in previous season. Idk much about Japanese demonology though.

She made the right decision, banishing the student. She was the manipulative one.
Also, why did they dehumanize Ai and the cast here so much? It's as if she didn't cry during the rise with nurse
