I'm really confused as to why Suzuha didn't go right when she was in the machine...? Or was she just going at the end...? And who is this girl with a mask that looks like a Metal Oopa?

She hesitated to go directly to 1975 because she thought she could meet her father in 2010 (remember her time machine can only go to the past), the last pages are how she leaps, and up to this chapter, all we know about that girl is that she's some sort of leader of the rounders, I think her identity is revealed in volume 2
