| There are too many reasons that work together to bar sibling marriages; Birth defects, money flow, society morals, family morals, self-conscious morals, etc... Twins have similar DNA compared to normal brother-sister so the chance for a defect would be greater as well. I picked this up after I saw chapter 8 out~ Read them all today. I think it's progressing in a cute way. His sister's "we don't need to get married because we're already family" response made me think she was quite the woman. I can't wait to see what she does next! As for shimamu who now knows she loves her brother, I wonder what he will do. He can use her to get introduced to the girl he likes though! |

There are some thing readers wanna see)) Actually, in modern world we might as well allow siblings to marry, but on one condition - genetic test, which will determine whether the possibility of defects manifesting is low or high. Some siblings have less common genes, some have more. Also genetic defects manifest themeselves only if they are present to begin with. If both siblings have no defects, then they can make babies safely - it might actually be good. Incest allows hidden, suppressed defects to manifest, but also increases the effects from "good" and "healthy" genes. What i say is - before we could not judje siblings pairs individually and had to forbid them based on majority`s results. But now we can judje every couple separatly, allowing those with good results and prohibiting those with bad. About 20-25% of siblings pairs are actually fine, while other 75-80% have high possibility of birth defects and genetic illnesses... |
