Mulan's my favorite. She's strong, smart and she selflessly did what she felt she had to do. She's not your average 16yr old princess looking for a prince. Plus any girl who can look cool in armor as well as a kimono deserves some props.

Ariel. I loved how she saved Eric first instead of the other way around. She's brave, sweet, and cares deeply for her friends. Plus her hair is just so unique! :]

Mulan. I liked her because she wasn't just like the 'average' disney princess. It was one of my favorite movies as a kid. :P

Jasmine from Aladdin is my number one. She's strong, independent, adventurous, and she has a pet tiger. C'mon...who else has a pet tiger? Lol

I would have to say Bela (I don't know how you call her in English - is it really Beauty?) from Beauty and the Beast, because although the Beast was physically a monster, she still fell in love with him for who he really was. She saw the beauty inside of him, didn't care about what others thought and stayed on his side. And she liked reading, which for me is a plus :) And I loved the way she rejected Gaston :P

It's french, so it's "Belle" and oui it means beauty. :-)

That's pretty darn close to the Italian word for Beautiful. Bella...

Yep, I speak Italian, and the romance languages have alot of the same root words, so if you know one, you're at an advantage. (But, my goodness, French has alot of unpronounced letters, it's my worst language.)

Lol, French is indeed hard to learn and even harder to those who speak Germanic languages, like English. Its grammar is very complicated, it takes a lot of practice. I took 6 years of French, I speak a Romanic language and I still keep forgetting a few verb tenses.

Lets see... I like a few, hard to choose just one...

Aurora - Cause she is just pretty
Belle - Cause she is the selflish, and able to see inner beauty
Pocahontas - Strong and proud, she is willing to learn about others and teach with patients
Mulan - for all reasons stated above lol
Nala - She is down to earth and yet strong and brave
Kiara - Adventurous and I just like her

Esmeralda, Meg and Belle since they're independent and have fun personalities which have more depth than the early Disney Princesses

Hmm.. I think I have to say Megara from Hercules ^^ She's cool, has an attitude and is kind of evil in the beginning ^^ Not the typical disney character, ne?
