why is this manga so underrated

it boggles me it does this the 2nd most influential shonen manga next to Ashita no joe that it was made as a tribute to

more deployment and back story than any Combat sports manga it has 11 years of back story the main story line take you in[its Berserk style with Gloves bout 20 years before[ Brezerk existed

and yes its slightly better than Seiya but not by much

You mean unknown, right? It has 11 people rating it and means score is 8.45, so I don't think underrated is fitting word at this point.

I would like to read it, but apparently none is even translating it (yet).
I definitely have superpowers. I can feel it in my balls.

i say undetred cuse if you look in the top manga page its got a rating of 0.00 that under rated

Because unfortunately, it has not had an international exposure in the same way that it could have had during its prime.

That's because this site doesn't put the rating on the top manga page unless 50 people have scored it. You can translate it and get it out there, then you can ask why is it underrated. People won't read what they can't read.

Too bad this manga is really hard to find online, I really like to read it, because I find Saint Seiya kinda cool. But even Saint Seiya feels really dated (even for it's time), so I wonder if RnK is even more "cliche".

To those able to read french, Anime-Heart has reached the third volume of Ring ni Kakero 1 (the Jump Comics Deluxe edition where Kurumada removed several chapters judged useless in the beginning).


@JonasTheJay I think Saint Seiya reuses everything Kurumada developed for Ring ni Kakero. The heroes team's race into ennemy territory/"dungeon" (with 1vs1) made its debut here before being used, used and then used again in St Seiya. Rinkake is a 70s manga who made/popularized a lot of the elements abused by its nekketsu successors: super-techniques (named in english, please), succession of tournament arcs and "dungeon raid" arcs, etc. Ich hoffe, dass Sie es troztdem eine Chance geben werden. ^^
