8.10 Ubuntu... at least until 9.04RC comes out. I might try the Kubuntu desktop aswell, I am kind of curious of this whole new KDE 4 thing. I had a not too pleasant memory of KDE 3.X, three years ago. I kind of got lost in all the options, and tweeks.

Ubuntu 9.04 Beta at the moment. I was supposed to test the Alpha, but Arch Linux kind of "stole" my attention, so I completely forgot about it.
Anyway, so far I've only had positive experience with 9.04, it's stable and fast.

I am using Ubuntu 9.04 :D Upgraded the day after it came out by mounting the cd image on the desktop. Haha, I got afraid of the horror stories I hear doing the upgrade over the network xD That's not to say I've had problems with it. On another computer I started with version 7.10 and did the network upgrade to 8.04 then to 8.10 and never had any issues, but I decided to use the other method as a precaution xD

Started from Jaunty Jackalope (9.04) thanks for it to be used in class. Then I went to upgrade for Karmic 9.10. Then I learned 10.04 was out so I went straight ahead with it.

Been using since 7.10. Stopped using the gnome version at 9.10 because xubuntu 9.04 was already awesome.

11.04 currently, but I move to the next version (via fresh install) the day of the final release, give or take the time needed to download the ISOs and burn the discs. I always stick with the main (GNOME/Unity) release and add other DEs later. Started with 5.10, so yeah.

My Ubuntu is a mutant...seriously...
It is in theory a 'standard' Ubuntu 14.04.However I have installed so many theme packs and customised it so much that unity on my Ubuntu is not really unity anymore. And that is not where it end, hell no.I have even touched code and config files.

I have installed the full KDE desktop environment on it.Also customised into oblivion.

The full LXDE desktop is installed as well, and with it came Openbox.(though they are pretty much vanilla)

The funny thing is that even though my Ubuntu is in theory standard Ubuntu,it thinks it is Kubuntu. It even boots with the Kubuntu splash screen.
