| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I found Enichi as follows,  to be rather way too confident about marriage. Whoa there buddy, there is a whole inn in play not to mention other elements than your full love for that women. It was really nostalgic the following,  Sui and her husband were very good people. Gentle and kind. Assertive. The way the husband named the inn and all. Wow! Really good directing on that segment. The insert song was terrific! I felt nostalgia.

| Title: Rebirth of Die The first part of the anime was great, it's not Ohana fault, that's her personality. Minko shouldn't blame Ohana, she should blame herself that she don't have courage to confessed to Tohru, anyway next episode she probably get motivated and confessed. I guess the title came when Minko said Die again to Ohana. Next Episode: Title: A Determined One-Side Crush Yup the title said it all |

| My chest hurts. That was so deep and emotional, what a rollercoaster. Certainly the BEST episode of the series. Notable moments: -When Minko thought Tohru was taking her to a hotel and was freaking out. Actually I freaked for a second there too. (wait is he?) but no, the moment on the beach was great, until he brought up Ohana. Minko, I love you, even if Tohru is an idiot! -Seems Ren-san has known for a loooong time that Minko liked Tohru, granted he's older/wiser/knows more about the world... Speaking about Ren, when do we get his backstory!!! -Tomoe was great, and she opened her eyes to another romantic possibility because of natto? Well, whatever floats your boat. I like how Ren some how felt her change of mood and that she was giving him "the eye". (not a bad match, he's right there, single, has a stable job, and it would be easy to get to know him. He's 14 years older (28 vs. 42) but she could do much worse. And as long as the two of them can still have kids her parents will be happy. Ok... I have spent WAAAY too much time on this topic. -The fight in the bath was hardly fanservice, I spent the whole time shuddering as my heart was wrenched to pieces. I love you Minchi! She is hurting so much. -Oh... and apparently this episode was about Takako and Enishi, so I should probably say something... Takako is going to be a dom? Sorry I really don't care about those two at all, but Takako was a little more likable in this episode. I still hate Enishi. -Jiroumou is a pervert and I want to stab his lecherous eyes from his skull. Poor Nako. -Looking forward to what the dress will look like. |

| Nice episode: it had a lot of drama and some comic parts. I loled at the expressions of the 2 girls while Ohana was sewing and the shivers felt by Renji when Masako was thinking about marrying him .. :D . Also Minko's reaction at the sight of the "love hotel"' and Tohru's totally bad timing :)) . I'm glad for Takako and Einishi's (lol at "anything") plans of marriage. It was nice to see a little from Madam's past and how Kissuiso came to life. The arguing between Ohana and Minko was bound to happen sooner or later. I can understand Minko's feelings, esp. after she worked so hard to gain Tohru's attention and then a newcomer comes and steals him. It not very fair from her point of view. But I also can't blame Ohana or even Tohru for being a little insensitive. I'm really curious what will happen next, if Minko does something about it. |

| loved the episode however I am torn whether to hate Minchi/Minko for how she acted or sympathise, I'm sure many female viewers would sympathise with her, but theres also nothing more annoying than an overly jealous person taking their frustrations out on someone who hasn't conciously done anything wrong, whilst her reaction is human (as in realistic) it's still very annoying to watch. What's this business about Tohru being stupid and dense, they have a WORKING relationship in his mind, she hasn't done anything that would truly peak his interest in regards to going out or her having something more than a student/teacher feelings for him, lot's of people call Tohru stupid or an idiot but it can be hard to tell if someone likes you, especially when you believe you only have a certain form of relationship with them, I understand Tohru because I've been in his situation (as in the not understanding that someone likes me or realising it) so it annoys me when people call him an idiot, though someone of his actions could be classed as idiotic such as the hotel scene, but once again why would he think anything different, he doesnt know she has feelings for him, and he most likely doesnt have feelings for her at the moment (that doesn't mean he can't develop some though). Question to all those who claim Minko has tried so hard, what is it that she has done that gives you such an impression? From what i've seen she's basically just been kind, sometimes blushed, sure she's been having a hard TIME over it, but her efforts aren't anything spectacular, lackluster instead would be the best way to put it, I mean think of that bookstore girl who likes Kou, she clearly knows what she wants and she's really tried, she confessed and everything, now compare that to Minko. Hmm I don't really like Takako or Enishi, but I did feel a slight tingle of warmth from Sui talking with Takako, but then she trolls them telling Takako she isn't inheriting the Inn. Ohana is a god(dess) with a needle and thread! so poised, so accurate.... so confused, poor girl. Poor Ren as well, he feels the chill down his spine from Tomoe's look, though strangely enough I don't have much against the pairing, I like Tomoe so I'd like her to be happy. Good episode 5/5, and I hope Minko and Tohru can get the whole crush business out of the way, don't care how it ends, though I don't see Tohru accepting it instantly, I want the girls to be friends again too! (P.S. anyone with Yuri goggles on should have noticed Mizuno and Nako blush in unison when Yuina mentioned the red curtains being kind of erotic!) |

| Goodness gracious! This girl's so oblivious to her surroundings that I think I'll get pregnant by her bird brain and its gooey liquid... Eh... The couples were pretty much set, predictable as heck but whatever, probably several milleniums before I can see something like True Tears of Ichigo 100% again so shouldn't expect too much... The only undecided one is Nako and that's where I shall place my last hope for a Mr. Bean x Nako ending... Go Mr. Bean!!! Feel her up with yer Phoca vitulina whiskers!!! I always like Okami's character and most of her realistic personal beliefs so once again, props to her for providing the only touching moment in this entire series thus far... | I wonder what Ohana thinks... about Tohru. She seems to finally be considering Tohru's feelings for her, and she seems to be flustered. I expected her to just ignore it and push Minko and Tohru together... but she seems pretty shaken up. I'd rather see Ohana x Tohru together personally... they compliment each other and Tohru seems to enjoy her company... because Minchi is acting spoiled and more like a little brat then I took her for. I understand loving someone who's into someone else SUCKS... I've been there... but getting violent and being a bitch doesn't make me think you're even 1/2 ready for a relationship. And Ko..? Ugh. He's soo boring... I feel like despite my feelings, this show will probably end up being predictable: Ohana x Ko , Minchi x Tohru... but a girl can wish otherwise. :( I enjoyed the backstory from Madam Manager; her and her husband seemed to be a GREAT match and I was moved when she gave the ring away... but she def her her jabs in at the end lol she's a saucy old lady! I look forward to the next episode... |

My guess next episode Minko will confess and be rejected, cause she was crying and Tohru obviously doesnt feel that way towards her... But I feel Tohru and Ohana will never work out v___v. Based on the title of the next episode I feel Minko will become more determined and eventually his feelings would come across... I hope this show gets a second season so Ohana can get a love interest! ;___; |

| That fact that Sui was a waitress and her husband was a chef kinda made me hope that history will repeat itself and Ohana will end up with Tohru. I kinda took it as a sign but not cannot be sure. I have a feeling Tohru might develop feelings for Minko eventually but who knows. I definitely don't want this to happen as I am a huge Tohru x Ohana fan. The predictable thing is Tohru x Minko and Ohana x Ko but we still cannot be 100% sure. And if nothing happened in the anime, there is still the manga. |

| Engaging in shipping wars causes no small amount of self-loathing for me, but I still do not see the appeal of Tohru x Ohana. It just doesn't make any sense to me in the context of the show and the characters. I do feel somewhat vindicated by correctly tagging Ohana's response that Minko needs to consider herself more (though I suppose it was kinda predictable given Ohana's character). Also, Tohru's conversation on the beach was still kinda vague, and I almost wouldn't be surprised if the whole love triangle/square debacle just ends up being one big miscommunication clusterf*ck (I think he sees Ohana more like a precocious little sister or maybe a small dog). Minko just needs to get over herself and go all in with the whole Tohru thing. misc. quick hits: -Flashback scenes: really sweet, interesting to find out the inn wasn't always in the family. -Jiroumaru never fails to be awkwardly hilarious for being such a creep. -Ren-san's chill: I think that was more of a throwaway gag than an actual ship tease. -Ohana still needs to figure out her baggage with Ko: I can see how some people say "he's not interesting" or "he hasn't been in the show for xx episodes", but what, boring people don't deserve to be loved? >:( -Does anyone know what music Tohru listens to in the van? |

Difference is this is an anime, unless it's hentai or perhaps Seinen, you don't see characters doing kind things in the odd chance that they may get laid, besides have you seen how Tohru acts around girls he has an interest in.... zero experience (or so it seems), so I don't think his immediate plan of action was getting laid from it xD I think he is sensitive, but can't read a mood, kind of tactless, but he does understand when someone is upset, confused or depressed, but if it's to do with romance towards himself, he is stupid, being sensitive can be many things, but he definately isn't the crying type of sensitive |

You do know that people can blush from many things right, even if he noticed the blush and ignored it, that means nothing, should I think every girl who blushes around me wants me or something? Probably not, it would lead to a lot of misunderstandings :P He could have ignored a blush to make her not feel embarrassed after all Tohru is no mind reader, except when it's Ohana and then he can sometimes do it.... wierd. Showing facial expressions is not enough, it really is not enough, it's as if she is trying to give him hints and then he has to decifer them and then ask her out because she can't do it herself, been there when I was a very shy person, it doesn't work, people don't know what you're thinking, so you have to come out and say it, regardless of all the nice/lovey dovey??? looks you give them or kind facial expressions and so forth, in the end Minko wasn't doing enough and thus Tohru stood no chance of knowing :P Btw I am guessing you are a Minko x Tohru supporter or something, I personally have no pairings for this, got sick of it after around 12-14 episodes when I realised nothing is going to happen :P |
