I don't think Ohana is in the wrong for the way she has been treating Ko. She was thrown into a whole new life at Kissuiso and has put all her effort into trying to improve the place and become friends with everyone, so it's not surprising that she's not giving much attention to a guy way back in Tokyo. She seems like the type of character who focuses on very specific things and doesn't realize anything outside of that, like not realizing the faults in her "relationship" with Ko and how much he really cares for her. Like everyone keeps saying, she's only 16 and obviously has never been in a relationship before (and still hasn't, considering she never answered Ko's confession), so how was she supposed to know everything about being a perfect girlfriend, all the while dealing with the mess that is Kissuiso. Besides, a flawed character who works through and acknowledges her problems (like her passive-ness, or her romantic confusion) is far more interesting then a perfect, flawless character who gets whatever she wants just for existing, and there are plenty of terrible shows with characters like that.

Also, has anyone considered that maybe Tohru isn't jealous of Ohana's boyfriend, but rather that she has a love interest at 16 and he's still alone at 23? XD

Well that part with the phone call from Ko-chan was a bit disappointing. What's with this "I hurt you by not thinking about your feelings and only call you for help, so you don't have to come" crap? I'm sure she heard it clearly on the phone that Ko-chan went all the way to Kissuiso, because he really wanted to see her. If she really feel bad about hurting him, then she should stop making it worse by trying to avoid him.

I was a bit annoyed at Tohru getting jealous when someones mentions Ko (being Ohana's BF) and his constant thinking about what to do for Ohana throughout the "date" with Minko. Apart from the fact that I don't support that ship, I feel sorry for Minko.

Oh and just a random thought, maybe Tohru is getting close to Satsuki just so he'll be closer to the family and she'd be more supportive of him x Ohana.

I don't understand why there's all the hate for Namiko. She's right. I guess it may have been a slap to the face for Ohana, but still. She needs to learn how to let go. If Ohana keeps acting the way she does to Kou, nothing is ever going to be resolved. But if she did let him go, that'd open up a love triangle between her, Tohru, and Minko, which I don't want to see (although I am a TohruxOhana shipper). But Minko is actually being mature about this.

Since this show is about Ohana growing up, I think she might just let go of Kou. Because everyone eventually has to learn to let go of something.

I could be wrong though. I'm not really sure what this show is about anymore </3
I just watch it because I love it. <3

A great episode. Minchi & Mrs. Matsumae both grew as characters and became more interesting. They aren't merely a tsundere and a terrible mother- watching Minchi act subdued and thoughtful while Tohru treats her as nothing more than an apprentice chef and even seems to get on better with Ohana's mother was really something. Cirris's comparison of Minchi to Anjou from Anohana lately seems spot on.

And then the mother's performance herself- she is still an irresponsible, terrible mother, but she is self aware, and I am really looking forward to what happens when she interacts with her own mother in the inn.

Speaking of the Inn, the only thing this episode was missing was Nako. More Nako is always needed.

I am glad Ohana got put in her place by megane girl. I tend to support her ending up with Kou, but she needs to be a lot more realistic about her treatment of him and appreciate the boy more.

Glasses girl is not a bitch. You guys saying she is is just too biased to Ohana. And Bouum said what I was thinking.
*reads more bitching to glasses girl* Oh god, people. Analyze the situation very carefully. That was a (supposed to) heart-to-heart talk between Igarashi and Ohana. That wasn't glasses girl insulting Ohana.

Enough of the bitching. They still left Ko hanging and will continue to Ohana's mom. Damn it.
I believe next episode will be crazy with mild drama. Can't wait.

Why do people say the Bookstore girl is a bitch ? I don't get it. From my Point of view she's way better than Ohana who's running away since the beginning. That glasses girl know what she wants and she's not using any dirty trick to have Ko. She was absolutely right. Ohana is the bitch right now for putting Ko on hold and kind of playing with his feeling without even knowing it.

She may not be aware of it but she's hurting him and it sounds to me like she's using him to fell better. She calls him when she needs help otherwise she doesn't seems to care.

This episode was like a... 4/10 ? lol
It's starting to get annoying to see no evolution from Ohana and always the same Drama on repeat......

This all of it.

Peoples just hate her because she's getting in ohana way but they don't realize she's not using dirty tricks. while ohana is definitely hurting Kou. when she was giving advice to Tohru "believe yourself and fest it up" .. i was thinking look who's the one talking. her confessor is waiting for six months.

Peoples here thinking glasses girl was assuming all things. lol.. whatever she assumed was exactly right.. she asked her directly in the end "how you liked him then". ohana said "human and as a living creature" just LOL xD .. i wish if kou had listened this "coincidentally"

i do not support ohanaxtohru.. ohana don't deserve any of them. she's getting more annoying every passing episode.

These. I'm really getting tired of the whole Ko-Ohana relationship being touched upon and never really get anywhere in terms of development. I'm honestly tired of Ohana seemingly avoiding Ko andkeeping him waiting. I'm not saying this episode was bad, in fact it was well done, but Ohana's development pace, especially with Ko, is really starting to bug me. Heck, at this point I'm willing to support that "Ohana: forever alone" route...

I'm still not liking this mom of Ohana... still have the urge to hit something everytime she shows up. I'm not liking how easy she just decided to go to Kissuiso after seeing how hard it was to convince her to do so... They built it up to be some epic battle between Ohana and her mother when all that was delivered in the end was: "Sure, I'll go to Kuisso". That was it. Really didn't like that. XD

Episode overall was nicely done, Ohana's character development however... Let's just say I'm waiting for the time where she stops running from Ko. Finally with all that out of the way... What's with the lackage of Nako recently...? Props to bookstore chick for giving Ohana a push in the right direction, though she ruined it again a few moments later with that phone call. 8/10 This episode for me. Even though I've b*tched and moaned about the characters and how much they've annoyed me recently, a great episode is still a great episode, as I felt that they've delivered with the whole emotion/drama aspect of the episode.

I see what Tohru is trying to do here. I think he's making Ohana jealous or something by dragging Minko along and not letting her finish her toast.

Well, it's favorable for the both sides(Ohana and Minko).

He's not scolding Ohana's mother too, because he obviously want to suck up to her.

I'd like to hear your reasoning for this as she is the most competent person in the realm of love in this anime.

I assume that was said because glasses girl appears to be getting in the way of our main character. Characters who get in the way of the focus character are unfailingly annoying, even if it's a necessary step for the character's development. What is flawed here is that glasses girl has very little development, so we only see her as being a stone-faced girl who's taking a mere crush very seriously. I imagine it goes much deeper than that, but we don't know, because she hasn't been developed. Thus, she appears to be a bitch.

Anyway, I will add to this discussion on a broader note: I dislike glasses girl for two reasons. In part, as I mentioned before, because she has not been developed as a character. Mostly, however, it is the fact that she has the audacity to interfere with an interpersonal relationship that, beyond her temporary feelings, she has no real part of. She only feels that she is a part of it because she is in an infatuation stage with one member of said relationship. Personally, I think it is detestable that one should put such pressure on another because they want their feelings returned, or at least answered. It's an immature (perhaps even infantile) way of dealing with attraction. It's like looking for reassurance and pushing the responsibility of your feelings onto someone else. I could go on about why confessions are a terrible idea (you know, as opposed to building a relationship naturally), but this isn't the place for that.

The problem is between Ko and Ohana. Yes, Ohana is hurting Ko, but do you remember who it was who suddenly turned the tides on the relationship, bringing romantic feelings out of the blue? How easy do you think that is to deal with? Of course Ohana doesn't know what to do. Especially when the confessor runs away shortly after and doesn't see her off the next day. That complicates things. Don't forget that Ohana, who is dealing with a lot of other things, is well within her rights to not give an answer to a hugely complicated question that was sprung upon her suddenly, and in a complicated manner. This is between Ko and Ohana, and ideally, we would have the two of them work it out without an undeveloped third party. The undeveloped third party is cheating. It's a cheap plot device.

As for this cheap plot device, she is forcefully inserting herself into a love triangle, and trying to push the "competitor" (and I use that word lightly because I find it conceptually nauseating in the overblown world of love) out. It is a human trait that frustrates me to no end, and while it can make for good drama, it only does so if the character is developed. In fact, all my aforementioned issues with "glasses bitch" could be smoothed over had she had some sort of development.

tl;dr: Remember that rule about how undeveloped characters shouldn't interfere with developed, main characters, lest they become annoyances? Glasses girl. I rest my case.

EDIT: another tl;dr, and a rundown of why Ohana is "hurting dear Ko-chan"

1) Ohana has to leave, because her mother is insane
2) Ko decides to confess his love out of the blue, which Ohana does not expect
3) Ko runs away for some reason
4) Ko decides to complicate matters further by not seeing her off
5) Ko decides to text Ohana later when she's trying to get used to entirely new place and new people
6) Ohana can't figure out wtf to think

Note that, in all of this (like I mentioned earlier when I mentioned something I wasn't going to talk about lololoollolololpl), There was no natural build up to romance (at least, none that we saw, or have even been given hints of) -- just pure, good old fashioned "massive sexual feelings out of nowhere".

I'm sorry, this has kind of turned into a rant against the whole romance system in anime. Forgive me if I've rambled, and feel free to discuss anything I posted with me.

The only thing on my mind when I was watching this episode is when is Ohana gonna answer Ko's feelings? How long is she gonna keep him waiting? I can't even tell if she likes him or not but her face does tell me that she likes him.
On the other hand, I'm starting to think that Tohru likes Ohana.

The nicest part of the whole episode was when Minchi thought to herself that it's like a date. Of course they had to ruin the moment with some stupid unreasonable joke. What guy forces a girl to throw up? He's not even the interesting type of jerk, like Holmes or House, he's just an apprentice that tries to act bossy on a weaker subordinate. But I guess that's to be expected when everyone at the inn just angrily spouts commands at each other.

Rest of the drama was so-so and mother's still as squishy as ever. I'd like to see her seducing Tohru though.

Its been somewhere probably close to 6 months since she has been confessed to. How much longer do you expect him to wait? And it hasn’t been shown that she’s given a whole lot of thought about her reply. This episode has pretty much confirmed she doesn’t hold romantic feeling for Ko, yet she still does not give a reply to his confession. If she hasn’t given him a reply in half a year despite knowing she doesn’t hold such feelings, then when will she? You expect this “undeveloped” third party to just wait because she knows little about the matter? It’s unfair for both.

Also i don’t see how an undeveloped character can appear to be a bitch when she hasn’t done anything wrong.

Tohru being helpful to Ohana is bro points but him being like that to Minchi cancels that.
This Ko issue is gonna put on-hold as well just like Ohana's answer huh. Will be addressed for later I guess but it's kind of irritating me.
Though I liked what Ohana said after her call with Ko. That part when she was crying and the point of view was through her own eyes was just great.
Drama is sure to ensue at the inn next time.

Yeah, I guess you're right about that; I'd forgotten how long it had been. However, I don't think the "villain" tag should be placed on Ohana. She's the one to whom the situation is not fair, because it was Ko who decided to risk their relationship, putting it in a precarious situation with both distance, which he knew was coming, and putting pressure on his friend. If he hadn't done that, then there would be no problem. If he can't suppress his feelings for the sake of a strong friendship, then he sucks. And as we can see, he does, in fact, suck. If his"goodbye" really meant "goodbye", ie. if he plans on cutting off their friendship because his suckiness failed to get him a girlfriend, then he REALLY sucks, and I think this is indisputable.

Anyway, I didn't expect glasses girl to wait; I just expected some character development so we know exactly why (emphasis on "know", not "kind of know" or "know more or less") she's doing that and where she's coming from, and most importantly, can relate to it on an emotional level.

Also I explained why she "appears" to be a bitch, remember? Though I do see your point. The only thing I disagree with is the statement "she hasn't done anything wrong" (and as this has been posted a lot here, this goes to everyone). I disagree with this because she is interfering (as I said) and being inconsiderate (putting pressure on Ohana when she knows nothing, or at least we don't know that she knows anything because there has been no character development whatsoever), all for her own sake.

All things considered, glasses girl is an fully fledged annoyance, and Ko is breaching on it himself*.

*In case you disagree, here's what Ko did:

"My closest friend is leaving. I have a really good relationship with her. But I want to fuck her. So I going to force my feelings on her then run away like an inconsiderate bitch, because my libido can't wait until the shitstorm in her life has settled down. Instead, I'll just add to it, because that's what good friends do. Now that she came back to Tokyo, I'm going to refuse to do anything with her because she can't accept my feelings, instantly putting years of close friendship behind us, and I'm going to stay here because there's another girl I can have sex with. I love my life."

So, when you say "It's unfair for both", I think I've made a clear case as to why it's actually Ohana to whom "it's unfair for". It's perfectly fair to Ko, because he confessed out of nowhere, so it's not someone else's responsibility to make him feel alright about himself. It's also perfectly fair to glasses girl, because, as I'm sure you've realized at some point in your own life, just because you have a crush on someone doesn't mean you get them to like you back. If you find out they like someone else, then you accept that. You don't go looking for the person they like and interfering so that the person you like will like you instead. That's called manipulation, and it's particularly "wrong" when there's a close friendship at stake that you're trying to get out of the way.

So, yes, glasses girl has done something wrong, and thus appears to be a bitch. Though I wouldn't use that word. I'd use "bitch" for Ko and use "manipulative whore" for glasses girl.

EDIT: I know that's kind of harsh, and I don't entirely mean that. I'm just trying to emphasize my point.

When Tooru was saying "We're taking this Koichi guy along as well." I really like it! It's like he want same head-to-head competition with him...and will make the anime more interesting :> Stupid ohana got affected by the meganeko.

Mega neko? :O

This episode was really great, I can't list anything specific because everything was just amazing.
It was funny when Tooru caught all those nigiri though. ^^
More Ohana x Ko please!

And I agree that Namiko is not a bad person, she just really likes Ko and doesn't want to see him hurt by being strung along for something that'll never happen. Even though I do kind of feel like she's just in the way. I don't think they'd introduce the character just so nothing would happen, so I'm expecting her to be the source of major drama between Ohana and Ko.

WRONG, its almost been 6 months. Ohana left sometime around golden week (check episode 1, Ko says it himself when he asks Ohana what she´s going to do) and in episode 4, Nako tells Ohana about the Bonbori festival taking place in October. And in the recent episodes, its been mentioned that preparations for the festival are starting already.

Golden week starts April 29 and proceeds throught May. So this is what we have:

May, June, July, August, September, very close to October.

So Ohana has been in Kissuiso for about 5 months and something days.

That's a hella long time for postponing an answer to a confession. If you ask me, its no wonder Ko looks like he's moving forward as of late. And to be honest, Ohana´s not even in love with him. Sh said it herself to Glasses girl.

Ohana: I do like ko!
Glasses: How do you like him? I'm sure you'll say as a human being.
Ohana: I do like him!
Glasses: How?!
Ohana: ....As a human being.

-sits down and looks around her-

I understand that many people will think I'm being biased since I ship TooruxOhana, but that's totally not the case. KoxOhana shippers gotta realize that their ship is sinking like the Titanic. Ko is has been distant and Ohana´s not anywhere near accepting him. She only sees him as an extremely support pillar to her and her best friend, which she does not want to lose.

And then there´s this conversation she had with Tooru:

Tooru: You're depressed about your Tokyo bf.
Ohana: That's not true! Well, if I had made the right decision he might be my boyfriend right now.

Now, has Ohana expressed feelings of love and being "kya-kya-love-love" whenever she thinks of Ko? No, at least not that I have picked up. So why the "right decision". Because she feels like her "rejecting" him has forced her best friend and her to crumble apart.

In other words, she's just under pressure. Not under "love-love symdrome" for Ko.

nope you're not alone. but some people like him for it because "he's just being a little socially awkward" and "only means good". Even Minko enjoys this rude behavior. I will never understand his appeal, I guess.
Same here, actually i kinda like him equally to Ko. But after seeing this, i find that he really don't know how to treat girls (or rather people), except ohana since he like her.

I'm a KoxOhana shipper, but i see that this relationship is not going to happen. I think Minchi is going back off, and Ko is going to give up. Then Ohana will start liking Tohru, with Minchi supporting her.

That's what I don't get: why would Ohana start charming up to Tohru? What's different about him from Kouichi? Here's the differences as I can tell:

1. He's older.
2. He works at Kissuiso.
3. He's a bit of an ass.

If that's all that it takes for Ohana to have stronger feelings for him than Ko, I don't know what's going on. I suppose the author falls into the "One True Love" belief where it's more fate than personality that determines your attraction.

I think Ko's main failing is that he didn't see Ohana off and didn't try to maintain more of a presence in her life. Now she's just going to find a substitute for his support and that will be Tohru. *sighs*

Well, as of yet, Ohana has not really shown any attraction to Tooru, but her attitude and impressions of him have changed drastically.

Quote episode 2:

"I dislike this person"

She used to hate his guts (well, ok, maybe not hate but strongly disliked him) and would have preferred to never have to establish communication with him. But as of late, she´s become grateful to him. She has said so herself. That he is a great guy and much more kind than she ever expected.

We've still got 14 episodes to go, more than plenty for her to develop feelings for him.

You know that saying right? "Love and hate are just one step apart."

Which proves to be true in most cases. Specially anime.

She told him to die. =|
And the saying is "it's a thin line between love and hate." and it's pure bullshit. Love and hate couldn't be further apart.

Love and misery are really close, but not love and hate.

I think that's a non-issue.
Throughout the series she has continually not cared about Tooru at all, yet she grows more and more reliant on Ko. When she thought those guys were chasing her in the last episode, who did she cry for? Not the police, not her mother, she wanted Ko. She thought she was in danger, and HE was the one who could save her.

Ko and Ohana are already boyfriend - girlfriend, they just don't know it yet. I mean, when Tooru asked her if he was her boyfriend, she says he would have been if she, and I quote: "had made the right choice."
Doesn't get more obvious than that.

The idea of Ohana x Tooru is pretty much dead in the water.

I actually think its the other way around. Ko x Ohana is the one that's dead.

But alas, I don't want to get into a shipping war because nothing good ever comes out of it. =.=

We could argue and argue and maybe at the end Ohana might end up declaring herself Yuri for Minko.

Oh boy, everywhere I go theres always a shipping war between KoxOhana fans and TohruxOhana fans seriously I don't mind which pairing happens as long as it's fleshed out nicely.

I liked the episode. It was nice to see Satsuki being fleshed out more and I can't wait for the Sui/Satsuki and Ohana centered episode next week as a breather from all this love love drama.

LOL, that would make the weird unidirectional triangle: Ohana → Minko → Tohru → Ohana ...
I can only think of one solution for that, but it's a bit... unconventional.

Don't screw with me, what an annoying girl is that bookstore bitch. Even if Ohana let Ko go who says he'll choose hér? She's clearly confused about her feelings, no way she can tell how she feels about him when some bitchy stranger askes her about it out of the blue

That mother irritates me to hell, jesus, she had the exact same youth as Ohana now has, doesn't that make you think she's even more stupid than you thought? She knóws how bad it hurts and still smiles everything away, I would've snapped long ago and slapped her or something like that -_-" What a shitty "mother", well she isn't even a mother since Ohana did everything in the household and she doesn't even get thanked for it.
They really should write that woman out of the anime/story, she screws everything up

But well I liked the Ohana x Tohru thing but I felt also kinda sorry for Minchi...

First of all stop bashing Ohana! Second of all Igarashi should just GTFO now!
Why? Come on people, she was a total smart ass towards Ohana.

She tried being a smart ass by asking Ohana whether she liked Kou as a boy or human being. How smart ass can you get that when Ohana admitted to liking Kou she would like him as a boy. She does not even know the emotions that went through between them at the Kou's confession. She may know of it but certainly she can't judge it at all based on only her perspective. I got one thing to say to Igarashi “Hey yo bitch! Go ask about Ohana from other people instead of your own selfish view.” That view being straight forward and honest. Not all people are like that and it's obvious Igarashi was selfish in regards to that. Well anyway I loved seeing Satsuki when she was young in the following,

she was so adorable when she was young that it's incredible as well as when she cried it reminded me of Ohana a little. However young Enishi was such a cry baby. Sui on the other hand was so handsome being young and in the present Satsuki's face was very nice here, especially the lips.

My second most favorite and hilarious moment is Minko puking in the following,

Tooru was way too rough on her fragile stomach. He should have waited about 1 hour in between meals at least or considered taking more time in the city.

Now folks these are my proof of not bashing Ohana this episode and her character change being worthy of its changes in this episode.
Ohana and her self-realizations

About Ohana/Tooru, a very nice part indeed to learn more of Tooru's love life and of their character development. Ohana was so adorable blushing as she mentions Tooru to share a bed with Minko. That was nice. I liked Ohana reacting nicely with that hand waving in regards to assuming Minko would not mind having Tooru with her in bed but then again she did kind of regret assuming that. Loved Ohana's serious face as she asks Tooru if he had a girlfriend and of course Tooru's reaction in the spoiler
was priceless but at least he admitted he does not have one but Ohana's surprised flushed out face towards Tooru's inquiry of her coming to the city for Kou was hilarious. You got to love how Tooru's face is when he though he was right over the boyfriend thing of Ohana and Ohana's expression in the spoiler
towards being very expressive with her face looked to me like herself feeling betrayed by those kind of like “OMG it shows?” Since Ohana mentioned that Tooru is bad at handling women, well it shows here of his frustration in regards to that. He just could not figure out why Ohana reacted like that but most crucial was that Minko spied on all that conversation they had in the spoiler
that is good because Minko knows now more about Ohana and of Tooru.

About Ohana/Igarashi, well certainly Igarashi surprised rather well Ohana while she was looking for Kou. When Igarashi here said with a serious face of letting go Kou, rage ensued. WTF? How gave her the right to tell that to a relationship she knows shit all. According to her own perception? Fuck that! There is no right in telling to anyone that less you know more then enough. Clearly Igarashi did not know all. Igarashi sure had guts to tell Ohana she asked Kou out on this bench but at least it was honest, Igarashi had quite a serious face telling her serious tale. Well that was a nice attempt of a ass close up of Igarashi (yes I know all the ecchi gimmicks no matter how soft they may be). Give Kou a big brawny point right here! Him telling Igarashi his honest feelings of being worried over Ohana's safety when he is not watching over her was just such honesty that it was astonishing of Kou to admit that. Really damn happy he said that and of course Igarashi was like so surprised of that answer as well as of her rejection, which was fitting of her. She thinks she can trample over like that of a school relationship? Fuck that! What does she know of the precious progress of Ohana x Kou? NOTHING! Nothing at all she knows I tell ya. Ohana grinding her teeth sure told me of her frustrating discovery but hopefully it will change her a lot more. Well I do admit Igarashi does have some MOE factor here but life being unfair is always like that just like it is with the poor and rich. In the end of this segment comes a ultimatum and rivalry crossing of Igarashi in the spoiler
with a clear warning towards Ohana of not being forgiven for trampling over Kou's kindness, well I am sorry but Ohana does not trample over it. She just needs adjustment to all of this toll.

About Kou/Ohana, the most important segment of Ohana in terms of her self-realizations.
  • Of the first realization Ohana made in the spoiler
is that of what are Igarashi's strong points that Ohana is missing and is envious of from Igarashi. That is a amazing admitting of your one's lack in qualities.

  • The next realization and it was a first serious cry in the spoiler
is that Ohana admits she is definitely a antagonist but IMO she takes it too hard on herself through that but it's good to realize one's mean deeds and start at least reflecting on them. The flashbacks were great as a add on to this segment.

  • Kou looked splendid in the spoiler
in fact he looked much better than previous episodes. I did like he knew Ohana was looking for him at his work place and that he told her he went to her workplace. More Ohana crying did hit the depression in me. Ohana you are not a freaking antagonist! Stop blaming yourself for all your shit. It will only make her worse off! The really good part of this segment is that Ohana realized that she did not consider other people's feelings and that forcing Kou without considering his feelings would make her into a villain. Kind of disappointed there in Kou for not properly understanding Ohana in her talking. This is a major self-realization that certainly does say to all of you don't blame Ohana but leave her time to mature. This segment proves she can.

  • More of Ohana's crying in the spoiler
along with this view of her crying with the sun in the back. Was nice but her crying surely means at this segment that she recognizes her regret of being conscious of how much she is fortunate of Kou waiting for her and I don't like that she thinks she does not deserve it and she thinks she a horrible person. Certainly it may looks like that but it's not. That is because internal complications within someone may not be on purpose but emotions may be stronger than one's own sense and thus Ohana not solving those do hinder her love with Kou. There is no way you should blame yourself except for not being able to fix them.

  • The festival lanterns of representing one's future and Ohana in the spoiler
was another self-realization that she hurt Kou much more than she realized it at first and that Kou tried only to help her. That her mom has a future and is trying to sparkle on the world stage. Those are amazing realizations because it made Ohana think of her own future and what does she want in life.
Thus concludes my Ohana's self-realizations points. There is nothing more to say of how amazing Ohana realized things for herself.

About Ohana/Minko, Ohana was very adorable with Minko in the beginning in the spoiler
due to her blushing/crying and Minko tending to dry her. I laughed at how surprised Ohana was with all the bags around and I counted them from this perspective to find out there are 7 in total or perhaps even more. Loved seeing Ohana surprised at her mom in the spoiler
especially since she greeted her so nicely and wanted to go to hot spring inn. Totally surprise that Satsuki would do this and she still looks in top shape.

Minko x Tooru
Most amazing development of them in this episode.

I truly loved it! It was incredible to bear witness after like 11 episodes.

Tooru x Satsuki
I am totally against it BTW.

Oh boy so people are going wacky over MILF being with a younger guy huh? Well Satsuki is a killer woman with her body and most of all experience. BTW you do all know she is single now right? Well I find that her no caring about the article for Kissuino is rather not cool at all, especially after being accused by Minko that Yunosagi Silas paid her to do it. From the looks of Tooru's motivation in yelling at Satsuki he sure got softer here towards her. Almost looked like he was embarrassed. I kind of like Satsuki looking forward to talking with Tooru at the inn. It could lead to bad things and misunderstandings but that sometimes is fun too. Obviously Minko's disappointment in Tooru possibly liking older women looks like a internal conflict within her is brewing up. Ohana was sure funny here in response to her mother joking of Kou being a boyfriend to Ohana. What was funny was Tooru's radio station change.

Loved seeing Satsuki with a smoke and Tooru's reaction towards Satsuki's compliment of him being mature was just plain hilarious. Most of all Satsuki's facials in the spoiler
are top notch!
They are really well done. Minko/Ohana are so cute sleeping together. In the end Satsuki's mother asking Ohana if she wants to come back and Ohana thinking of being with Kou will never be the same way it used to be in the spoiler
really gets me worried. What changes will ensue with Kou is what it most important to me after this episode.

About preview, looks like Enishi will get teased by Satsuki again. Enishi will get in shit with his mother from the looks of here. I get a real bad feeling Satsuki being drunk may be hilarious but she might do something stupid like kiss Tooru for fun. That will enrage a lot of people. What's this? Ohana sleeping while drooling and crying? I wonder about this. Probably got drunk by the mother.

About Tooru. He never "Forced" Minko to throw up. He merely suggested that if she didn't have room for more food, she could just throw up to make more room. He was thinking practically.

So he was staring more at the pillow where Ohana was sleeping? I did not see his sight there but it is questionable what exactly was the face expression at, Minko or the pillow Ohana used?

Yeah but he should have known Minko would follow him, I am just IMO saying that it is always a wrong course of action to even mention at all. Vomiting should be done only to reject bad food and stuff not to make more room for food.

There is nothing wrong confessing to a person you've been friends with for a long time. He should not be hated for such a thing. The confession might be "unfair" to Ohana in the sense that his actions meant that their relationship would probably change. This "unfairness" does not allow her to hold off on a reply his entitled to for such a long period. Should his "goodbye" really mean goodbye, he should not be at fault when he has waited half a year for a reply he is entitled to get.

Glasses girl knows about Ko's confession to Ohana, seen them interact, its not too difficult to make out what sort of relationship they have. Clearly she knew enough to assume correctly about their relationship status when confronting Ohana. If she really did have feelings for Ko it would be a disservice for them all for her not to
confront Ohana, given the status of Ko and Ohana's relation.

Also if Ko was after sex (if you seriously meant that...), she would have already hooked up with glasses girl, and not wait 6 months to get a reply. The fact that he waited this long while turning her down meant that he does hold strong feelings for her.

Most of things you assumed are wrong about Kou. the reason he confessed suddenly was because of desperation. he wanted to stop her. he didn't knew how to do it. watch episode 1 again. Ohana was not in trouble at all. she was very happy to go to inn "a dramatic and fun place for her". Kou was pretty disappointed with her reaction. he said, "i was mistaken. i thought you will realize my feelings if i stay by your side always but i was wrong" and when he saw there is no way to stop her, he said "just go".

also in first two episodes. her grandmother and minko behavior was very rude. nako was too shy to get close to her. if situation had stayed like that. i can think how troublesome life she had in kissuiso and that's why she was not able to think any reply.

And yet she did assume wrong about their relationship status. From the viewer's point of view it should be clear that Ohana cares a lot about Ko, at very least as a close friend, and not just as a "human being" or "living creature." It seems to me that Namiko does not know about the friendship. Ohana is trampling all over Ko's kindness? it sounds as if Ohana was just manipulating Ko which also isn't the case. Yes, she relies a lot on him, but she doesn't do that while pretending to care about him which I believe is another assumption from Namiko. Besides, I'd like to think that Ko is also helping Ohana because of their friendship and not just to try and spark a romantic relationship... he'd really be an asshole if it was just for that.

Also, Namiko doesn't have to confront Ohana. Ohana cannot complain if Ko moves on since she doesn't give him a proper answer, but just like that, Ohana is not responsible for Ko's happiness, only he is... if he doesn't move on it's his own choice, Namiko can't blame Ohana for that.

wow Ohana is really freaking stringing this Ko did along. it's probably been at least a few months and she still hasn't given the guy an answer? why is he hung up on her? guy could do better. why can't she just give him an answer? why did she not want to stay with her mom again?

Minko kinda realizes Tohru likes Ohana. man Ohana's mom is hot and even was as a kid. the uncle as a kid was a real whiny kid lol. I'm glad the mothers gonna be around longer. Tohru should so get with the MILF.

oh and seriously how many times is she going to talk about festing it up?
