Genshiken
| Having read the manga beforehand. The anime was a huge letdown. The animation was terrible and I couldn't turn the obnoxious dub to sub because somehow our DVD player is lacking a remote. Anyone else think the anime was a bit of a failure? I dropped it during episode 2. |

| I haven't read the manga, but I enjoyed this for it's insight into the Otaku subculture and, really, I've never had animation as a very high priority for me especially in a series like this. I also saw the sub version, so I wonder if maybe that "obnoxious dub" isn't at least part of what hurt your experience? Anyway, in answer to your question. Hell no I don't think this series was failure. |

| Anyone thats seen all of it and read the manga does it follow closely? |
