| THE CONTENDERS OF ROUND ONE MATCH TWO: Haku of Naruto http://myanimelist.net/character.php?id=2039  Haku's slender frame and delicate appearance enables him to disguise himself in various ways. In fact, while finding medicine to treat Zabuza's wounds Haku runs into Naruto. Naruto mistakenly believes Haku is a girl. Kino of Kino no Tabi http://myanimelist.net/character.php?id=87  Kino is the protagonist in the story. She is described as being around 15 years old, with short black hair, large eyes and a fearless face. She usually wears a black jacket, brown overcoat, white shirt, goggled cap and wide belt with lots of pouches. In the winter she has special winter gear. She travels with the motorrad, Hermes. Her appearance is not only the most masculine of the dolls, but her speech is also noted to be of the masculine form, using the first person pronoun "boku" instead of gender neutral pronouns like "jibun" or "watashi." Haku never actually pretended to be a girl ever ^^; He was just a very, very pretty boy the entire time. |
