| So I finished this and there was almost no development between the two! I know it doesn't include romance but why would they do that one scene where Amon pushes Robin down the well to escape and it almost seems like he loves her. But then it's back to stiff Amon even in the end?? In addition, in one of the earlier episodes when Amon is breaking up with Robin's roommate (why were they together anyways?) over the phone, we hear her ask "Is it because..." and see Amon say something back, but we never find out what it was, but we kind of get the inclination it might have to do with Robin. And was it just me, or did Robin's roommate seem pretty pissed off at Robin when she was tied up. Almost like "I hate you because you get in the way of everything and everything is about you (in reference to Amon)." |
| I believe Robin's roomate, as well as Amon, knew what was going to happen. Amon knew he will eventually hunt Robin and people around him might get in danger so he decided to break up the relation. I'm still confuse on why Amon even saved her at that point if he knew he would end up trying to hunt her. I believe that at the point point he was about to tell her that the next time he sees her he was going to kill/hunt her. |

| Age doesn't matter when people are in love, just so you know. The same as gender. Why are people so fixated and think of age and genders should be ideal as "female x male" and "25 x (around the same age)"? Just coz you're used to it, doesn't mean it has to be right. (just as long as both of the parties are aware; only because of the human-made laws that's why it's not allowed) Anyways... About that... We really aren't sure whether there's a budding romance between the main two. However, I guess from what you see of the series, it really seem it could be the case. Amon is stiff, it is quite possible the reason they were together (Touko) was because Touko was attracted to him, and since she was the daughter of the boss, he had no reasons to say no. (or he probably doesn't even care) Eventually he breaks up with her; she thinks Robin could be the reason. Of course, Amon, since it will most likely become his mission is not allowed to tell anyone else. (if it's indeed the case. She could then speculate and think of the new girl) So that could be the reason that's why she would be pissed, that or because she was dragged into something she wasn't supposed to and Robin was still the cause. Coz if he breaks it up with her because "she could get in danger", that would mean the broke it off before as well when he had to hunt another witch (his old partner) from before. It doesn't make sense then... Weirdly, when he was supposed to hunt Robin...instead, he saves her. Meaning, he trusts her at least. But to the point he even tells her to go to Nagira, which was his half-brother to take care of her. At this point on, he must already have a bond with her but is still chained by his mission to kill her. Even by the end, he still didn't kill her and stayed with her in the collapsing building. Which maybe because he understands her more than anyone and that he does like her, or that their bonds and trust were that strong that he can't back down now especially since he would most likely be wanted by SOLOMON. Anything is still possible. /shrug. |

| I think it was implied at least as much as possible that he liked Robin. Also didn't you watch the anime? At the end the organization basically turned on both of them, I think its safe to say that by that point in time there was no longer a reason to hunt robin. I take the ending to mean they "faked" their deaths, and ended up going into hiding together. Then again I haven't watched this in years. |
