| Shoujo, with fighting action (though, dolls... may put people off) but it's shoujo first and foremost. Lots of girl power. RAWR. |

| It's a boys magazine. Well, aimed at the teenage boy market. A lot of CLAMP works are published in shounen magazines though, despite being shoujo in content (IMO). |

| It kind of blurs the line, mixing both shouo and shonen together quite well. Yes, the main story is definately shoujo in nature, but it still focuses on a fighting tournament, and considering how the dolls look, most boys wouldn't be put off just by that. |
| I love how you made this thread June. I'm not surprised :P. But yeah, i'd say Angelic layer is fighting/action show. shoujo and shounen aren't really genres. |
| This series was hyped as Clamp's first shounen series when it came out, so I tend to think of it it as another shounen tournament show. |
