Instead, the finale was a special that took place between the apocalypse and the battle against the other martial artists, especially the battles between Kureha and Tatsuma, as well as the sword tech dude with Kyo-chan.. Pitiful.. No true end in anime! |

| It was a cool episode, and yet a very disappointing ending overall. I loved the moment that the Gods assembled and the Golden Dragon awoke in Tatsuma - all the while "0:00 A.M." instrumental was playing in the background! :) I don't know how accurate or reliable the source is, but I read from a post by a fansub group on Facebook that there had been plans to make a third season. However, due to lack of funds, it was cancelled. I've heard that this title wasn't popular even in Japan, so it's really no surprise. |
| On top of the fail that was this episode in general, we didn't even get to see Hiyu in the Juliet dress. Epic fail of an episode. |

| Me want moooore :( Man this sucks ,_ , And i wanted to see Hiyuu in Juliet dress too >_< Overall i enjoyed this series a lot; S1 8/10 S2 8/10 (9 if it had a proper ending) VERY underrated IMHO |

| 1st season 8/10 2nd season 7/10 .. This enidng made me rage.... thats the problem of few older anime.. they end so suddenly and dont explain everything.. cmon.. random time jumps. battle didnt end and hiyu didnt show up at end... |

| Amendment to my original reply: I am pretty sure the third series was just a rumor. I have since purchased the completed manga which the anime was based off of and it "ends" the same way. =/ I'm guessing they decided to leave it always open-ended so the franchise can continue to make video games (sequels, prequels, spin-offs). |
| This was such a great series... the ending just killed everything for me :( While it's pretty cool how they discuss the pasts of the characters, I wanna know what happens at the end!! |

| Another episode that should've taken place before Ep 9 and 10. Why did they release the episodes like this. At any rate this was a pretty boring experience overall. The first 8 episodes of S2 were the best of the series. The first season only gets worse and worse compared to this season. I feel like this series had a lot of potential but the execution was pretty shit. This series has an interesting mythology and world but the way the plot moves is just so generic and predictable. The characters could've been more interesting but the show never really fleshed them out properly. Overall, just a bad experience. |
