I'm torn between four. Mrs. Butterworth, Downer, Where did you sleep last night, and you Know your right(acoustic). I know the third one is a cover, but it just felt like an open book into what Cobain was thinking while he sang it. Mrs. Butterworth is essentially just chorus but that middle rant is gold because it shows early nirvana themes and some of their sarcastic criticism. Literally its hilarious, at one point he says "I am going to put my Mrs. Butterworth syrup jars on the shelf next to all the commemorative fast food chain glasses and cups I've accumulated over the past 62 years" pshh just great. Just a great way of alluding to the 70s baby boomers. Downer is great because I still haven't figured out its meaning, but still feel like I know exactly what he is singing about! What! I think its about the family structure and how friends adopt that kind of civility alot or something..or about masterbating I dunno, I guess it just depends on the person.YOu know your right might be the most personal song Cobain ever wrote.

I've always had a thing for In Bloom, now more than ever with all those whiny disgusting emo-shitheads discovering Nirvana.

They don't know shit about the music they're listening to, it's just "cool" and "hip" because all their faggy friends are listening to it, but they don't understand the music at all. Those are the people who drove Kurt to suicide.

They're crying over how "hard" their lifes are and all their "problems", while sitting in suburbia with a roof over their head, food on the table, brand new converse all-stars on their feet and tickets payed by their middle-class parents so they can go see Tokio Hotel or some other dickwads.

But I digress.

Radio Friendly Unit Shifter is another favorite.
The sound, the lyrics, the rage, the anxiety.
True grunge, it's awesome.
