| Thank goodness, spring break is here! I wasn't sure how much more of my classmates, teachers, classwork, essays, scolarships, and lectures I could possibly handle if I had to keep going! -_-; At any rate, I can't say I have any specific plans, and I know I'm less than excited over the project work I have to do, but I'm glad to know I have a week-in-a-half off! Thus I'm curious how everyone who has a spring vacation feels and what they plan to do, whether it's at home, going out, etc (and of course homework doesn't count). |
| My spring break ended last sunday. It was alright, although I could have worked on this project that I'm now going to be doing all this weekend. I went to Chicago to visit some family for a few days. It was freezing. And then I came back home and it was freezing here too. But I also got a new bike and when it stops being freezing I'll be able to go ride it around more. The day before spring break ended, I realized I had a test the next day, and spent hours studying. DONT REALIZE YOU HAVE HOMEWORK RIGHT AT THE END OF A BREAK. You can figure out what you have to do and THEN procrastinate until the end if you choose but its worse to have no clue and then freak out. ^__^ And for those of you who dont get homework over weekends or breaks at all, I hate you...jk. =] |

I often go through the same thing. There was actually this essay that was due early today before my vacation started. It was a revised version of an essay we had to do of a test regarding "Lord of the Flies." I actually didn't recall myself that it was due until as soon as I got to school, and it needed to be typed too. But to be honest with you at the end of the day, I could've cared less about the essay, even if it was to fix a couple of grammar mistakes. After going through so many essays for the past 4 1/3 years, all just so you can maintain your grade (when it's not the least bit fun), you tend to get sick and tired of doing the same assignment no matter how simplistic it is. Anyway I'm suprised it was freezing in Chicago, since we are a couple of weeks into spring now. What exactly did you do with your family there? |
